Abstract

A request for a secure financial transaction is received from a user, who is authenticated with a biometric device. If the user is authenticated, an authentication token is received from the biometric device and sent to a remote device, which initiates the secure financial transaction. Upon initiation of the secure financial transaction, details related to the secure financial transaction are displayed to the user and the those details are monitored until the secure financial transaction is completed.

authenticating the user requesting the secure financial transaction with a biometric device;

if the user is authenticated:

receiving an authentication token from the biometric device;

sending the authentication token to a remote device, wherein the remote device initiates the secure financial transaction;

displaying the secure financial transaction details to the user; and

monitoring an integrity of the secure financial transaction details until the secure financial transaction is completed.

13 . The computer of claim 12 , wherein authenticating the user includes requesting the user to interact with the biometric device.

14 . The computer of claim 12 , wherein displaying secure financial transaction details to the user includes:

validating a digital signature associated with an agent application configured to display the secure financial transaction details; and

launching the agent application if the digital signature is validated.

15 . The computer of claim 12 , wherein monitoring an integrity of the secure financial transaction details includes identifying any changes to the secure financial transaction details.

16 . The computer of claim 12 , wherein monitoring an integrity of the secure financial transaction details includes identifying any changes to the secure financial transaction details at predetermined time intervals.

17 . The computer of claim 12 , wherein monitoring an integrity of the secure financial transaction details includes identifying any changes to the secure financial transaction details at random time intervals.

18 . The computer of claim 12 , wherein the processor terminates the secure financial transaction if the user is not authenticated.

19 . The computer of claim 12 , wherein the secure financial transaction is a payment transaction.
