Abstract

An apparatus, method, and system to present at least one game offering on a display of a gaming machine may include a portable electronic device having a processor operative with a spontaneous interest data application to acquire spontaneous interest data. A memory may store the spontaneous interest data and the spontaneous interest data application. The spontaneous interest data application may save the spontaneous interest data to the memory, and a data transfer interface can transfer the spontaneous interest data to a second device.

Claims (57)

1. A portable electronic device, comprising:

a processor operative with a spontaneous interest data application to acquire a plurality of spontaneous interest data based on at least one user action, the at least one user action being used to capture an image or identification of the spontaneous interest data, the plurality of spontaneous interest data associated with a gaming establishment having image or identification being presented throughout the gaming establishment;

a memory configured to store the plurality of spontaneous interest data and the spontaneous interest data application; and

a data transfer interface configured to transfer the plurality of spontaneous interest data to a second device;

wherein the spontaneous interest data application saves the plurality of spontaneous interest data to the memory.

2. The device of claim 1 , wherein the spontaneous interest data application transfers the plurality of spontaneous interest data to the second device using the data transfer interface.

3. The device of claim 2 , wherein the second device is a second portable electronic device.

4. The device of claim 1 , further comprising an input device configured to receive the plurality of spontaneous interest data.

6. The device of claim 4 , wherein the plurality of spontaneous interest data comprises at least one game data captured by the input device.

7. The device of claim 4 , wherein the input device comprises a sensor configured to receive the at least one user action.

8. The device of claim 7 , wherein the sensor is selected from the group consisting of a motion sensor, an inertial sensor, an acceleration sensor, a temperature sensor, a microphone, a camera, a RF transceiver, and a location sensor.

9. The device of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of spontaneous interest data comprises location data associated with a position of the portable electronic device.

10. The device of claim 1 , further comprising a user interface configured to access and manipulate the spontaneous interest data application.

11. A method for presenting at least one game offering on a display of a gaming device, comprising:

receiving a plurality of spontaneous interest data stored on a portable electronic device, the plurality of spontaneous interest data associated with an image or unique identification presented throughout a gaming establishment;

evaluating the plurality of spontaneous interest data to determine the at least one game offering for a user; and

presenting a user interface on the display of the gaming device, the user interface operating on the at least one game offering.

12. The method of claim 11 , wherein the evaluating further comprises:

determining a plurality of game offerings for the user; and

presenting the plurality of game offerings on the user interface.

13. The method of claim 12 , further comprises:

receiving a user selection for at least one game in the plurality of game offerings; and

initiating the at least one selected game.

14. The method of claim 11 , wherein the evaluating further comprises determining at least one user interest offering based on the plurality of spontaneous interest data or at least one historical spontaneous interest data.

15. The method of claim 11 , wherein the plurality of spontaneous interest data includes at least one user collected data.

16. The method of claim 11 , wherein the evaluating further comprises prioritizing the plurality of spontaneous interest data to determine the at least one game offering for the user.

17. The method of claim 11 , wherein the receiving of the plurality of spontaneous interest data further comprises receiving a plurality of spontaneous interest data items from the portable electronic device.

18. The method of claim 17 , wherein the plurality of spontaneous interest data includes the plurality of spontaneous interest data items acquired via the portable electronic device,

wherein the evaluating further comprises prioritizing the plurality of spontaneous interest data items to determine the at least one game offering for the user.

19. The method of claim 17 , wherein the plurality of spontaneous interest data includes location data associated with the portable electronic device.

20. A spontaneous player preferences system, comprising:

at least one portable electronic device configured to acquire a plurality of spontaneous interest data based on a user action, each of the at least portable electronic devices including:

a processor operative with a spontaneous interest data application to acquire the plurality of spontaneous interest data, the at least one user action being used to capture an image or identifier of the spontaneous interest data, the plurality of spontaneous interest data associated with a gaming establishment having image or identification of the spontaneous interest data presented throughout the gaming establishment;

a memory configured to store the plurality of spontaneous interest data and the spontaneous interest data application; and

a data transfer interface configured to transfer the plurality of spontaneous interest data,

wherein the spontaneous interest data application saves the plurality of spontaneous interest data to the memory;

a gaming device configured to communicate with the at least one portable electronic device via the data transfer interface to receive the plurality of spontaneous interest data, the gaming device configured to present at least one user interest offerings for a user based upon the plurality spontaneous interest data; and

a gaming server configured to communicate with the at least one portable electronic device and the gaming device, the gaming server configured to evaluate the plurality of spontaneous interest data to determine the at least one user interest offerings being presented on the gaming device.

21. The system of claim 20 , wherein the at least one portable electronic device communicates with the gaming server to verify that the gaming device is available.

22. The system of claim 20 , wherein the plurality of spontaneous interest data comprises location data associated with a position of the at least one portable electronic device.

23. The system of claim 20 , wherein the plurality of spontaneous interest data includes visual and auditory data acquired by the at least one portable electronic device.

24. The system of claim 20 , wherein the gaming device is configured to present the at least one user interest offering.

25. The system of claim 24 , wherein the at least one user interest offering includes at least one entertainment offering.

26. The system of claim 20 , wherein the at least one portable electronic device further comprises an input device configured to receive the plurality of spontaneous interest data.

27. The system of claim 26 , wherein the input device comprises a sensor configured to receive at least one user action.

28. The system of claim 27 , wherein the sensor is selected from the group consisting of a motion sensor, an inertial sensor, an acceleration sensor, a temperature sensor a microphone, a camera, a RF transceiver, and a location sensor.
