Abstract

A method of controlling a digital photographing apparatus to display an image is provided. The method includes obtaining an input image from an image input unit, and displaying, on a display unit, each of a plurality of display regions of the input image to be enlarged as an enlarged image.

Claims (26)

1 . A digital photographing apparatus, comprising:

an image input unit to obtain an input image;

a display unit to display the input image; and

a processing unit configured to display, on the display unit, each of a plurality of display regions of the input image to be enlarged as an enlarged image.

2 . The digital photographing apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the processing unit is configured to sequentially display each of the plurality of display regions of the input image on the display unit as an enlarged image.

3 . The digital photographing apparatus of claim 1 a, wherein the plurality of display regions are sequentially displayed in a clockwise direction.

4 . The digital photographing apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of display regions comprise at least one focus zone of the input image.

5 . The digital photographing apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of display regions comprise at least one face region of a person of the input image.

6 . The digital photographing apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the processing unit is configured to display a reduced entire input image.

7 . A method of controlling a digital photographing apparatus to display an image, the method comprising:

obtaining an input image from an image input unit; and

displaying, on a display unit, each of a plurality of display regions of the input image to be enlarged as an enlarged image.

8 . The method of claim 7 , wherein the plurality of display regions of the input image are sequentially displayed on the display unit as an enlarged image.

9 . The method of claim 7 , wherein the plurality of display regions are sequentially displayed in a clockwise direction.

10 . The method of claim 7 , wherein the plurality of display regions comprise at least one focus zone of the input image.

11 . The method of claim 7 , wherein the plurality of display regions comprise at least one face region of a person of the input image.

12 . The method of claim 7 , further comprising displaying a reduced entire input image on the display unit.

13 . A digital photographing apparatus, comprising:

a display unit to display an input image;

an image input unit to obtain the input image, the input image having a resolution that is higher than the resolution of the display unit; and

a processing unit configured to display, on the display unit, each of a plurality of display regions of the input image to be enlarged as an enlarged image, so that the resolution of the enlarged image displayed on the display unit is increased to be closer to the resolution of the input image.

14 . The digital photographing apparatus of claim 13 , wherein the processing unit is configured to sequentially display each of the plurality of display regions of the input image on the display unit as an enlarged image.

15 . The digital photographing apparatus of claim 13 , wherein the plurality of display regions are sequentially displayed in a clockwise direction.

16 . The digital photographing apparatus of claim 13 , wherein the plurality of display regions comprise at least one focus zone of the input image.

17 . The digital photographing apparatus of claim 13 , wherein the plurality of display regions comprise at least one face region of a person of the input image.

18 . The digital photographing apparatus of claim 13 , wherein the processing unit is configured to display a reduced entire input image.
