Prodrugs of GABA analogs, compositions and uses thereof
View Patent ↗The present invention provides prodrugs of GABA analogs, pharmaceutical compositions of prodrugs of GABA analogs and methods for making prodrugs of GABA analogs. The present invention also provides methods for using prodrugs of GABA analogs and methods for using pharmaceutical compositions of prodrugs of GABA analogs for treating or preventing common diseases and/or disorders.
1. A compound having the formula:
a diastereomer thereof or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
2. A compound having the formula:
a diastereomer thereof or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
3. A compound having the formula:
a diastereomer thereof or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
4. A pharmaceutical composition comprising a compound of formula:
or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and a pharmaceutically acceptable vehicle, wherein:
R 7 and R 14 are each hydrogen;
R 13 is selected from the group consisting of methyl, ethyl, n-propyl, isopropyl, n-butyl, isobutyl and sec-butyl; and
R 25 is selected from the group consisting of methyl, ethyl, n-propyl, isopropyl, n-butyl, isobutyl, sec-butyl, n-pentyl, isopentyl, sec-pentyl, neopentyl, and 1,1-diethoxyethyl.
5. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 4 wherein R 13 is methyl.
6. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 4 , wherein R 25 is methyl, ethyl, n-propyl or isopropyl.
7. The pharmaceutical composition of any one of claims 4 - 6 which is an oral sustained release dosage form.
8. A pharmaceutical composition comprising a compound having the formula:
or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and a pharmaceutically acceptable vehicle.
9. An oral sustained release dosage form comprising a compound having the formula:
or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and a pharmaceutically acceptable vehicle.
