Abstract
Novel methods and compositions for the prevention and treatment of all forms of atherosclerosis with 2,4-pyrimidinediamine compounds are described. Also disclosed is the coating of prosthetic devices, such as stents, with the compounds of the invention for the prevention and/or treatment of restenosis.
Claims (1)
1. A method of treating atherosclerosis or regressing or decreasing formation of arterial atherosclerotic lesions, said method comprising administering to a mammal having atherosclerosis an effective amount of N4-(2,2-dimethyl-4-[(dihydrogen phosphonoxy)methyl]-3-oxo-5-pyrido[1,4]oxazin-6-yl)-5-fluoro-N2-(3,4,5-trimethoxyphenyl)-2,4-pyrimidinediamine or a salt thereof.
