Abstract

To provide an anode composite for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary cell, whereby the properties of the material constituting an electrode can be fully obtained. An anode composite for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary cell, which comprises an electrode active material having a lithium intercalation-deintercalation potential higher by at least 0.4 V than the standard electrode potential of Li/Li + , and a binder containing a fibrillated polytetrafluoroethylene and an amorphous resin.

Claims (10)

2 . The anode composite for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary cell according to claim 1 , wherein the electrode active material is a lithium-titanium composite oxide represented by the compositional formula Li x Ti y O 4 (wherein, 0.5≦x≦3, and 1≦y≦2.5).

3 . The anode composite for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary cell according to claim 1 , which is made of an electrode-forming paste which contains the electrode active material and a binder consisting of an aqueous dispersion of the polytetrafluoroethylene and an aqueous dispersion of the amorphous resin.

4 . The anode composite for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary cell according to claim 3 , wherein the polytetrafluoroethylene is fibrillated by shearing force applied to the electrode-forming paste which contains the electrode active material and the binder and/or by rolling applied to a layer for the anode composite.

5 . The anode composite for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary cell according to claim 3 , wherein the electrode-forming paste is an aqueous paste containing an aqueous medium as a dispersant.

6 . The anode composite for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary cell according to claim 1 , wherein the amorphous resin is a fluoropolymer.

7 . The anode composite for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary cell according to claim 1 , wherein the lithium intercalation-deintercalation potential is higher by at least 1.0 V than the standard electrode potential of Li/Li + .

8 . The anode composite for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary cell according to claim 1 , wherein the mixing ratio of the polytetrafluoroethylene to the amorphous resin is from 1.0:9.0 to 9:0.1.

9 . The anode composite for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary cell according to claim 1 , wherein the content of the binder is from 0.01 to 15 mass % based on the electrode active material.

10 . A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary cell, which has an anode made of the anode composite for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary cell as defined in claim 1 .
