Abstract

Electronic equipment includes a first water cutoff member and a second water cutoff member on the periphery of a hole communicating from outside with a space in which an electric component such as an electric circuit board is provided. This can prevent liquid, dust, and the like, which enter a first housing from outside, from entering the space. Thus, the electric component, etc. placed in the space can be prevented from being damaged due to an electric short-circuit.

Claims (30)

1. Electronic equipment, comprising:

a first housing defining an interior;

a second housing rotatably mounted to the first housing;

an electric component provided in the interior of the first housing;

a conductive cable extending from the second housing to the first housing and electrically connected to the electric component;

a cable holding member having a pair of holding portions capable of holding the conductive cable;

a plurality of kinds of electronic function modules in the first housing;

at least one kind of an internal electronic element that is placed in the first housing and is capable of being used by the plurality of kinds of electronic function modules;

an internal element terminal connected to the internal electronic element;

a relay cable, one end of which is capable of being connected to the internal element terminal and the other end of which is capable of being connected selectively to the plurality of kinds of electronic function modules; and

an excess length portion having an excess length caused when the relay cable is connected to any one of the electronic function modules,

wherein the excess length portion is provided between the pair of holding portions

wherein the pair of holding portions include a main holding portion and an auxiliary holding portion,

the main holding portion is capable of holding the excess length portion of the relay cable, and

the auxiliary holding portion is capable of holding the relay cable at some midpoint from the main holding portion to the electronic function module.

2. The electronic equipment according to claim 1 , further comprising:

a hole formed in the housing, for extracting the conductive cable outside from the housing; and

a water cutoff member placed so as to surround the hole,

wherein the water cutoff member is provided between the pair of holding portions.

3. The electronic equipment according to claim 2 , wherein the water cutoff member includes slits capable of holding a plurality of the conductive cables in such a manner that the conductive cables are parallel to each other.

4. The electronic equipment according to claim 3 , wherein the water cutoff member has elasticity, and

the conductive cables are buried in the slits while deforming the water cutoff member.

5. The electronic equipment according to claim 2 , wherein the water cutoff member is placed in a vicinity of the hole and includes slits capable of holding a plurality of the conductive cables in such a manner that the conductive cables are parallel to each other.

6. The electronic equipment according to claim 1 , further comprising:

an outer element terminal capable of being connected to at least one kind of external electronic element that is capable of being used by the plurality of kinds of electronic function modules; and

a relay cable for an outer element having such a length that one end is capable of being connected to the external element terminal and the other end is capable of being connected selectively to the plurality of kinds of electronic function modules,

wherein the excess length portion is caused when the relay cable for an external element is connected to any one of the electronic function modules.

7. The electronic equipment according to claim 6 , wherein the plurality of kinds of electronic function modules are communication modules, the internal electronic element is an internal antenna, and the external electronic element is an external antenna.

8. The electronic equipment according to claim 1 , wherein the plurality of kinds of electronic function modules are communication modules and the internal electronic element is an internal antenna.

9. The electronic equipment according to claim 1 , wherein the cable holder includes a cable holding portion holding the relay cable at an equal pitch.
