Abstract

In order to make it possible for the user to recognize a charging system corresponding to a communication function that is being used, a communication terminal device includes illumination means and lighting control means for displaying a charge state corresponding to a type of the communication function that is being used in the communication terminal device by an illumination color of the illumination means.

17 . A communication terminal device comprising:

an illumination unit; and

a lighting control unit that displays a charge state corresponding to a type of a communication function that is being used in the communication terminal device by an illumination color of the illumination unit.

18 . The communication terminal device according to claim 17 , wherein

the lighting control unit sets the illumination color of the illumination unit to a different color according to the charge state corresponding to the type of the communication function that is being used in the communication terminal device.

19 . The communication terminal device according to claim 18 , wherein:

the illumination unit has lighting elements of R (red), G (green), and B (blue); and

the lighting control unit individually controls each brightness of the lighting elements of R (red), G (green), and B (blue) included in the illumination unit.

20 . The communication terminal device according to claim 17 , wherein

the lighting control unit includes:

a communication function monitor unit that distinguishes the communication function that has been activated in the communication terminal device;

a charge state determination unit that holds information of a charging system corresponding to the communication function in advance and determining the charging system corresponding to the communication function distinguished by the communication function monitor unit based on the information of the charging system;

an illumination color determination unit that holds information of the illumination color corresponding to the charging system in advance and determining the illumination color corresponding to the charging system determined by the charge state determination unit based on the information of the illumination color; and

an illumination color control unit that makes the illumination unit emit light of the illumination color determined by the illumination color determination unit.

21 . The communication terminal device according to claim 20 , wherein

when the charging system corresponding to the communication function that is being used in the communication terminal device is a pay-as-you-go charging in which the charging is performed according to a communication time or a communication data amount, the illumination color control unit changes the illumination color to another color in response to exceeding the communication time or the communication data amount that is set in advance.

22 . The communication terminal device according to claim 17 , wherein

the illumination unit are key backlights for illuminating one or a plurality of key switches provided in the communication terminal device.

23 . A lighting control method by comprising:

displaying a charge state corresponding to a type of a communication function that is being used in a communication terminal device by an illumination color of an illumination unit.

24 . The lighting control method according to claim 23 , wherein

a different color is set according to the charge state corresponding to the type of the communication function that is being used in the communication terminal device.

25 . The lighting control method according to claim 24 , wherein

each brightness of lighting elements of R (red), G (green), and B (blue) included in the illumination unit is individually controlled.

26 . The lighting control method according to claim 23 by comprising:

distinguishing the communication function that has been activated in the communication terminal device;

holding information of a charging system corresponding to the communication function in advance and determining the charging system corresponding to the distinguished communication function based on the information of the charging system;

holding information of the illumination color corresponding to the charging system in advance and determining the illumination color corresponding to the determined charging system based on the information of the illumination color; and

making the illumination unit emit light of the determined illumination color.

The lighting control method according to claim 26 , wherein when the charging system corresponding to the communication function that is being used in the communication terminal device is a pay-as-you-go charging in which the charging is performed according to a communication time or a communication data amount, the illumination color is changed to another color in response to exceeding the communication time or the communication data amount that is set in advance.

28 . A storing medium storing a program for causing a computer to perform:

a process that displays a charge state corresponding to a type of a communication function that is being used in a communication terminal device by an illumination color of an illumination unit.

29 . The storing medium according to claim 28 , wherein storing a program for causing a computer to perform:

a process that sets the illumination color of the illumination unit to a different color according to the charge state corresponding to the type of the communication function that is being used in the communication terminal device.

30 . The storing medium according to claim 29 , wherein storing a program for causing a computer to perform:

a process that individually controls each brightness of lighting elements of R (red), G (green), and B (blue) included in the illumination unit.

31 . The storing medium according to claim 28 , wherein storing a program for causing a computer to perform:

a process that distinguishes the communication function that has been activated in the communication terminal device;

a process that holds information of a charging system corresponding to the communication function in advance and determining the charging system corresponding to the distinguished communication function based on the information of the charging system;

a process that holds information of the illumination color corresponding to the charging system in advance and determining the illumination color corresponding to the determined charging system based on the information of the illumination color; and

a process that makes the illumination unit emit light of the determined illumination color.

32 . The storing medium according to claim 31 , wherein storing a program for causing a computer to perform:

a process in which when the charging system corresponding to the communication function that is being used in the communication terminal device is a pay-as-you-go charging in which the charging is performed according to a communication time or a communication data amount, the illumination color is changed to another color in response to exceeding the communication time or the communication data amount that is set in advance.

33 . A communication terminal device comprising:

illumination means; and

lighting control means for displaying a charge state corresponding to a type of a communication function that is being used in the communication terminal device by an illumination color of the illumination means.
