Abstract

To provide a technique for simply and easily producing a high-purity difluorophosphate and provide a production process of an electrolytic solution using the obtained difluorophosphate, an electrolytic solution and a secondary battery. A process for producing a difluorophosphate, comprising the following step (1) or (2): (1) reacting (A) at least one member selected from the group consisting of oxoacids, oxoacid anhydrides and oxyhalides of phosphorus with (B) a hexafluorophosphate in the presence of hydrogen fluoride, or (2) reacting at least one halide selected from the group consisting of alkali metal halides, alkaline earth metal halides, aluminum halides and onium halides with difluorophosphoric acid in the presence of a hexafluorophosphate. Also, a nonaqueous electrolytic solution containing the obtained difluorophosphate, and a nonaqueous electrolytic secondary battery containing the nonaqueous electrolytic solution.

Claims (13)

1. A process for producing a nonaqueous electrolytic solution comprising;

forming a difluorophosphate by either,

(1) reacting (A) at least one member selected from the group consisting of an oxoacid of phosphorus, an oxoacid anhydride of phosphorus and an oxyhalide of phosphorus with (b) a hexafluorophosphate in the presence of hydrogen fluoride, or

(2) reacting at least one halide selected from the group consisting of an alkali metal halide, an alkaline earth metal halide, an aluminum halide and an onium halide with difluorophosphoric acid in the presence of a hexafluorophosphate, and

blending the difluorophosphate with an electrolytic solution comprising an electrolyte, and a nonaqueous solvent.

2. The process for producing a nonaqueous electrolytic solution as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the content of the difluorophosphate is from 0.001 to 5% by mass in the nonaqueous electrolytic solution.

3. A process for producing a nonaqueous electrolytic secondary battery comprising a positive electrode, a negative electrode capable of occluding and releasing an ion, which process comprises carrying out the process for producing the nonaqueous electrolytic solution claimed in claim 1 , and then combining the positive electrode and the negative electrode to form the battery.

4. The process for producing a nonaqueous electrolytic solution of claim 1 , wherein the process comprises said (2) reacting.

5. The process for producing a nonaqueous electrolytic solution of claim 4 , wherein in said (2) reacting, the halide is an alkali metal halide.

6. The process for producing a nonaqueous electrolytic solution of claim 5 , wherein in said (2) reacting, the alkali metal halide is at least either one of lithium fluoride and lithium chloride.

7. The process for producing a nonaqueous electrolytic solution of claim 1 , wherein the hexafluorophosphate is at least one member selected from lithium hexafluorophosphate, sodium hexafluorophosphate, potassium hexafluorophosphate and ammonium hexafluorophosphate.

8. The process for producing a nonaqueous electrolytic solution of claim 4 , wherein when the hexafluorophosphate is lithium hexafluorophosphate, the halide is a fluoride.

9. The process for producing a nonaqueous electrolytic solution of claim 6 , wherein when the hexafluorophosphate is lithium hexafluorophosphate, the alkali metal halide is not lithium chloride.
