INPUT DEVICE, INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, INPUT METHOD, AND PROGRAM
When a detecting unit detects an operation of a key which is not included in a combination predicted by a prediction unit, an input control unit invalidates the operation of the key. Therefore, even if a user wrongly presses a key, the wrong pressing is invalidated, as a result key input intended by the user becomes smooth.

9 . An input device for performing an input by a plurality of keys operated simultaneously, comprising:
detecting means for detecting a state of keys;
memory means for storing a combination of keys operated simultaneously, which corresponds to a predetermined input;
prediction means for predicting a combination of keys, according to said detected state of keys by said detecting means and said stored combination of keys in said memory means; and
input control means for controlling keys, so that an operation for a key, which is not included in said predicted combination by said prediction means, is invalid.
10 . The input device according to claim 9 , further comprising
display means for displaying said predicted combination by said prediction means.
11 . The input device according to claim 9 , wherein
said prediction means predicts a combination of keys, when said detecting means detects a change in the state of keys.
12 . The input device according to claim 10 , further comprising
highlight display means for displaying a key included in said predicted combination by said prediction means, so as to have a different feature from a key, which is not included in said predicted combination.
13 . An information processing apparatus for performing an information processing according to an input, comprising an input device for performing said input by a plurality of keys operated simultaneously, said input device including:
detecting means for detecting a state of keys;
memory means for storing a combination of keys operated simultaneously, which corresponds to a predetermined input;
prediction means for predicting a combination of keys, according to said detected state of keys by said detecting means and said stored combination of keys in said memory means; and
input control means for controlling keys, so that an operation for a key, which is not included in said predicted combination by said prediction means, is invalid.
14 . The information processing apparatus according to claim 13 , further comprising
display means for displaying said predicted combination by said prediction means.
15 . The information processing apparatus according to claim 13 , wherein
said prediction means predicts a combination of keys, when said detecting means detects a change in the state of keys.
16 . The information processing apparatus according to claim 14 , further comprising
highlight display means for displaying a key included in said predicted combination by said prediction means, so as to have a different feature from a key, which is not included in said predicted combination.
17 . An input method of performing an input by a plurality of keys operated simultaneously, comprising:
detecting a state of keys;
storing a combination of keys operated simultaneously, which corresponds to a predetermined input;
predicting a combination of keys, according to said detected state of keys and said stored combination of keys; and
controlling keys, so that an operation for a key, which is not included in said predicted combination, is invalid.
18 . The input method according to claim 17 , further comprising:
displaying said predicted combination.
19 . The input method according to claim 17 , further comprising:
when a change in the state of keys is detected, predicting a combination of keys.
20 . The input method according to claim 18 , wherein
a key included in said predicted combination of keys is displayed, so that the key has a different feature from a key, which is not included in said predicted combination.
21 . A computer program for performing an input by a plurality of keys operated simultaneously, the computer program causing a control unit of a computer to execute:
a detection process for detecting a state of keys;
a memory process for storing a combination of keys operated simultaneously, which corresponds to a predetermined input;
a prediction process for predicting a combination of keys, according to said detected state of keys and said stored combination of keys; and
an input control process for controlling keys, so that an operation for a key, which is not included in said predicted combination, is invalid.
22 . A recording medium, in which a program which makes a computer execute processing to perform input by a plurality of keys operated simultaneously, the processing comprising:
a detection process for detecting a state of keys;
a memory process for storing a combination of keys operated simultaneously, which corresponds to a predetermined input;
a prediction process for predicting a combination of keys, according to said detected state of keys and said stored combination of keys; and
an input control process for controlling keys, so that an operation for a key, which is not included in said predicted combination, is invalid.
23 . An input device for performing an input by a plurality of keys operated simultaneously, comprising:
a detecting unit that detects a state of keys;
a memory unit that stores a combination of keys operated simultaneously, which corresponds to a predetermined input;
a prediction unit that predicts a combination of keys, according to said detected state of keys by said detecting unit and said stored combination of keys in said memory unit; and
an input control unit that controls keys, so that an operation for a key, which is not included in said predicted combination by said prediction unit, is invalid.
24 . The input device according to claim 23 , further comprising
a display unit that displays said predicted combination by said prediction unit.
25 . The input device according to claim 23 , wherein
said prediction unit predicts a combination of keys, when said detecting unit detects a change in the state of keys.
26 . The input device according to claim 24 , further comprising
a highlight display unit that displays a key included in said predicted combination by said prediction unit, so as to have a different feature from a key, which is not included in said predicted combination.
