SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR GENERATING AND USING A DIGITAL PASS

1 . A method comprising:

receiving, by a computer-based system comprising a merchant server system, biometric data acquired at a merchant location and an identity attribute associated with a digital pass, wherein the digital pass comprises a group of identity attributes associated with a digital pass user, and wherein the biometric data is associated with the digital pass user;

retrieving, by the computer-based system, the identity attribute based upon the biometric data;

filtering, by the computer-feared system, information associated with an item to be displayed to the digital pass user, wherein the information is based upon the identity attribute: and

displaying, by the computer-based system, the information associated with the item on a device.

2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the information comprises an offer tailored to the digital pass user.

3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the device comprises at least one of: goggles, spectacles, and a mobile communication device.

4 . The method of claim 3 , wherein the information enables the at least one of: goggles, spectacles, and the mobile communication device to highlight items in the merchant location which are suited to the digital pass user,

5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the identity attribute is a public identity attribute.

6 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising receiving, by the computer-based system, information based upon location data of the digital pass user.

7 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising receiving, by the computer-based system, an inquiry into whether the digital pass user wishes to pay a toll at a toll booth that a digital pass server system determines the digital pass user has encountered based upon the biometric data associated with the digital pass user.

8 . An article of manufacture including a non-transitory, tangible computer readable storage medium having instructions stored thereon that, in response to execution by a computer-based system comprising a merchant server system, cause the computer-based system to perform operations comprising:

receiving, by the computer-based system, information based upon biometric data acquired at a merchant location and an identity attribute associated with a digital pass, wherein the digital pass comprises a group of identity attributes associated with a digital pass user, and wherein the biometric data, is associated with the digital pass user;

retrieving by the computer-based system, the identity attribute based upon the biometric data:

filtering. by the computer-based system, information associated with an item to be displayed o the digital pass user, wherein the information is based upon the identity and and

displaying, by the computer-based system, the information associated with the item on a device.

9 . The article of claim 8 , wherein the information comprises an offer tailored to the digital pass user.

10 . The article of claim 8 , wherein the device comprises at least one of: goggles, spectacles, and a mobile communication device.

11 . The article of claim 10 , wherein the information enables the at least one of: goggles, spectacles, and the mobile communication device to highlight items in the merchant location which are suited to the digital pass user.

12 . The article of claim 8 , wherein the identity attribute is a public identity attribute.

13 . The article of claim 8 , further comprising receiving, by the computer-based system, information based upon location data of the digital pass user.

14 . The article of claim 8 , further comprising receiving, by the computer-based system, an inquiry into whether the digital pass user wishes to pay a toll at a toll booth that a digital pass server system determines the digital pass user has encountered based upon the biometric data associated with the digital pass user.

15 . A system comprising:

a processor comprising a merchant server system;

a tangible, non-transitory memory communicating with the processor,

the tangible, non-transitory memory having instructions stored thereon that, in response to execution by the processor, cause the processor to perform operations comprising:

receiving, by the processor, information based upon biometric data acquired at a merchant location and an identity attribute associated with a digital pass, wherein the digital pass comprises a group of identity attributes associated with a digital pass user, and wherein the biometric data is associated with the digital pass user;

retrieving, by the processor, the identity attribute based upon the biometric data;

filtering, by the processor, information associated with an item to be displayed to the digital pass user, wherein the information is based upon the identity attribute; and

displaying, by the processor, the information associated with the item on a device.

16 . The system of claim 15 , wherein the information comprises an offer tailored to the digital pass user.

17 . The system of claim 15 , wherein the device comprises at least one of: goggles, spectacles, and a mobile communication device, and wherein the information enables the at least one of: goggles, spectacles, and the mobile communication device to highlight items in the merchant location which are suited to the digital pass user,

18 . The system of claim 15 , wherein the identity attribute is a public identity attribute.

19 . The system of claim 15 , further comprising receiving, by the processor, information based upon the location data of the digital pass user.

20 . The system of claim 15 , further comprising receiving, by the processor, an inquiry into whether the digital pass user wishes to pay a toll at a toll booth that a digital pass server system determines is the digital pass user has encountered based upon the biometric data associated with the digital pass user.
