Abstract

A photographing device is implemented with a gaming function in which a win/loss of a game occurs, which is provided with a first condition obtainer is configured to obtain a first condition which is used to generate a first image file, a second condition obtainer is configured to obtain a second condition which is used to generate a second image file, a score calculator is configured to calculate a first score of the first image file and a second score of the second image file in accordance with the first condition and the second condition, respectively, a judger is configured to judge a win/loss of the game with respect to the first file and the second file based on the first score and the second score, and a display is configured to display the win/loss of the game with respect to the first file and the second file.

Claims (86)

1. A photographing device implemented with a gaming function in which win/loss of a game occurs, comprising:

a processor that is configured to:

obtain a first condition which is used to generate a first image file, the first condition includes information intrinsic to the photographing device that generates the first image file;

obtain a second condition which is used to generate a second image file, the second condition includes information intrinsic to an other photographing device that generates the second image file;

calculate a first score of the first image file and a second score of the second image file in accordance with the first condition and the second condition, respectively, the first score being calculated based on the information intrinsic to the first photographing device, and the second score being calculated based on the information intrinsic to the other photographing device; and

judge win/loss of the game with respect to the first image file and the second image file based on the first score and the second score; and

a display configured to display the win/loss of the game with respect to the first image file and the second image file.

The photographing device according to claim 1 , wherein the information intrinsic to the photographing device includes a total number of images captured by the photographing device, and the information intrinsic to the other photographing device includes a total number of images captured by the other photographing device.

3. The photographing device according to claim 1 ,

wherein the first condition includes a first total number of images captured by the photographing device and a first image processing parameter that determines an image processing to be applied to convert image data captured by an image capturing element of the photographing device to the first image file,

wherein the second condition includes a second total number of images captured by the other photographing device and a second image processing parameter that determines an image processing to be applied to convert image data captured by an image capturing element of the other photographing device to the second image file, and

wherein the first score of the first image file is calculated based on a random number which is generated in accordance with a probability distribution defined by the first total number of images and the first image processing parameter, and the second score of the second image file is calculated based on a random number which is generated in accordance with a probability distribution defined by the second total number of images and the second image processing parameter.

4. The photographing device according to claim 3 ,

wherein the first score is calculated using a normal random number which is defined based on an average value and a standard deviation value, the average value being determined based on the first total number of images and the standard deviation being determined based on the first image processing parameter, and

the second score is calculated using a normal random number which is defined based on the average value and the standard deviation value, the average value being determined based on the second total number of images and the standard deviation being determined based on the second image processing parameter.

5. The photographing device according to claim 4 , wherein each of the photographing device and the other photographing device includes a growth table representing a relationship between the total number of photographed images and the average value.

6. The photographing device according to claim 5 ,

wherein each of the photographing device and the other photographing device includes a plurality of kinds of growth tables, and

one of the plurality of kinds of growth tables is selected based on the information intrinsic to the photographing device, which is used to calculate the first score, and one of the plurality of kinds of growth tables is selected based on the information intrinsic to the other photographing device, which is used to calculate the second score.

7. The photographing device according to claim 4 ,

wherein each of the first image processing parameter and the second image processing parameter includes a plurality of parameter items, and

wherein each of the photographing device and the other photographing device has a standard deviation table indicating a relationship between the plurality of items and corresponding values used as the standard deviation.

8. The photographing device according to claim 3 ,

wherein calculation of the first and second scores applies a bonus addition and a penalty subtraction based on a condition used to generate an image file,

one of the bonus addition and the penalty subtraction is applied to the first score based on the first condition, and

one of the bonus addition and the penalty subtraction is applied to the second score based on the second condition.

9. The photographing device according to claim 1 ,

wherein the first condition includes a first image processing parameter determining an image processing to be applied to convert image data captured by an image capturing element of the photographing device to the first image file,

wherein the second condition includes a second image processing parameter determining an image processing to be applied to convert image data captured by an image capturing element of the other photographing device to the second image file, and

wherein a first score of the first image file is calculated based on the first image processing parameter, and a second score of the second image file is calculated based on the second image processing parameter.

10. The photographing device according to claim 1 ,

wherein:

the first score is calculated using a random number which is generated in accordance with a probability distribution that is determined based on the first condition, and

the second score is calculated using a random number which is generated in accordance with a probability distribution that is determined based on the second condition.

11. The photographing device according to claim 1 ,

wherein the game includes a plurality of matches, and

wherein the first score and second score are calculated for each of the plurality of matches, and

the win/loss in each of the matches is judged, and the win/loss in the game is based on the number of wins/losses of all the matches.

12. The photographing device according to claim 11 ,

wherein each of the first image processing parameter and the second image processing parameter is configured to indicate one of a plurality of parameter items for each of the plurality of matches,

wherein the first score for each match is calculated in accordance with a different characteristic depending on a parameter item indicated by the first image processing parameter, and

wherein the second score for each match is calculated in accordance with a different characteristic depending on a parameter item indicated by the second image processing parameter.

13. The photographing device according to claim 11 ,

further comprising a selector that acquires a user selection of an order of the plurality of parameter items respectively used for the plurality of matches that is selected by the user.

14. The photographing device according to claim 1 , the processor being further configured to:

obtain a first thumbnail image corresponding to the first image file;

obtain a second thumbnail image corresponding to the second image file; and

the photographing device including an image display that displays the first thumbnail image and the second thumbnail image side by side.

15. The photographing device according to claim 1 , the processor being further configured to:

obtain the first image file; and

to obtain the second image file; and

the photographing device including an image display that displays the first image and the second image side by side based on the first image file and the second image file, respectively.

16. The photographing device according to claim 15 , wherein

the first condition is recorded in the first image file as meta information,

the second condition is recorded in the second image file as meta information, and

the processor is further configured to extract the first condition from the first image file, and the second condition from the second image file.

17. A photographing device, comprising:

an image sensor configured to provide an image of an object and to output image data;

a storage device; and

a display; and

an image processor configured to apply a predetermined image processing to the image data, generate an image file of the image data processed by the predetermined image processing and store the image file in the storage device, an image processing parameter being used when the predetermined image processing is applied to the image data and is included in the image file stored in the storage device,

the image processor is further configured to:

obtain the image processing parameters respectively for a plurality of image files;

calculate scores of the plurality of image files based on the image processing parameters, respectively and based upon information intrinsic to the photographing device; and

determine an order of the plurality of image files based on the plurality of scores, respectively; and

display the determined order of the plurality of image files on the display.

18. A photographing device, comprising:

an image sensor configured to provide an image of an object and output image data;

a storage device;

a display device; and

an image processor configured to apply a predetermined image processing to the image data, generate an image file of the image data processed by the predetermined image processing and store the image file in the storage device, an image processing parameter being used when the predetermined image processing is applied to the image data and included in the image file stored in the storage device,

wherein the image processor is further configured to obtain the image processing parameter and

calculate an evaluation value of the image file based on the image processing parameter and based upon information intrinsic to the photographing device; and

display the calculated evaluation value on the display device.

19. A photographing device implemented with a gaming function in which a win/loss of a game occurs, comprising:

a processor that is configured to:

obtain a first score of a first image file and a second score of a second image file and further to calculate the first score and the second score based on information intrinsic to the photographing device; and

judge win/loss of the game with respect to the first image file and the second image file based on the first score and the second score; and

a display configured to display the win/loss of the game with respect to the first image file and the second image file.

20. The photographing device according to claim 19 ,

the processor is further configured to:

obtain a first condition which is used to generate the first image file,

wherein the first score is calculated based on the obtained first condition.

21. The photographing device according to claim 20 ,

wherein at least one of the first score and the second score is calculated by another device, and

wherein at least one of the first score and the second score, that is calculated by the another device, is obtained by data communication from the another device.
