Abstract

The invention relates to a system for actuating a plurality of actuators ( 15 ) that can move a mobile panel of an aircraft nacelle. Said system comprises at least two motors ( 16 ) that can drive the actuators ( 15 ), the two motors ( 16 ) being controlled and supplied by at least two separate control units ( 33, 35 ), and the actuators ( 15 ) being mechanically interconnected by a mechanical transmission ( 37 ). The invention also relates to a nacelle comprising such an actuating system.

Claims (15)

1. A nacelle for a two-flow jet engine comprising an outer structure defining an annular flow channel for a cold air flow, said outer structure having two mobile panels equipped with an actuator system for actuating a plurality of actuators that move the two mobile panels, said system comprising, for each mobile panel, at least two motors that drive the actuators,

wherein the at least four motors for the two mobile panels are controlled and supplied by at least two separate control units, wherein one of the at least two control units provides control and power to at least one motor from each mobile panel that is neither powered nor controlled by the other control unit, and wherein the actuators are mechanically interconnected by a mechanical transmission.

2. The system according to claim 1 , wherein the mechanical transmission includes one or more flexible power cables.

3. The system according to claim 1 , wherein each actuator is driven directly by a motor.

4. The system according to claim 1 , wherein a single actuator or part of the actuators is driven by all of the motors, the other actuators being driven by one or more mechanical transmissions.

5. The system according to claim 1 , wherein the at least two control units are powered by two distinct electrical power systems.

6. The system according to claim 5 , wherein each control unit delivers sufficient power for a single motor or set of motors connected to the control unit to be able to drive all of the actuators.

7. The system according to claim 1 , wherein the at least four motors are electrically synchronized.

8. The system according to claim 1 , wherein each control unit includes a control device commanding at least one inverter able to control one or more motors.

9. The nacelle according to claim 1 , wherein the mobile panel is a thrust reverser cowl able to move substantially longitudinally.

10. The nacelle according to claim 1 , wherein the nacelle includes two thrust reverser cowls.

11. The nacelle according to claim 1 , wherein the mobile panel is a nozzle panel pivotably mounted so as to reduce the width of the annular flow channel.

12. The nacelle according to claim 1 , wherein the nacelle includes at least one thrust reverser cowl and at least one nozzle panel.

13. The nacelle according to claim 1 , wherein the nacelle includes a plurality of mobile panels connected to each other by a mechanical connection so as to allow a substantially synchronized movement of said mobile panels relative to each other.

14. The nacelle according to claim 1 , wherein motors of one of the two mobile panels are synchronized in position with motors of the other mobile panel by a synchronization means controlled by the control units.
