Abstract

A multi-function tool having a handle portion and a plurality of structures operable therewith for the performance of a plurality of functions. The multi-function tool allows fast and convenient transition between any of the plurality of functions in order to enable completion of jobs or tasks requiring such functions without acquisition, storage, and/or maintenance of a plurality of specialized tools.

Claims (15)

1. A tool comprising:

an integrally molded unitary main body defining a handle portion having a head end and a proximate end;

a handle portion having a bar shape adapted to be gripped by a user wherein the main body further comprises four interconnected surfaces comprising two sidewall surfaces and two edge surfaces wherein each sidewall surface is broader than each edge surface; and

a tool zone located at the head end of the handle portion having a plurality of structures operable with said handle portion and adapted to perform at least one function,

wherein said plurality of structures comprises at least one of a saw wrench, and an open wrench;

wherein the handle portion is defined within the main body extending from the tool zone at the head end to the proximate end of the main body wherein a nail pick tool is defined and wherein the broad sidewall surfaces comprising the handle portion are flat.

2. The tool of claim 1 wherein said plurality of structures further comprises a lever pulling head wherein said lever pulling head is a non-threaded fastener pulling tool.

3. The tool of claim 2 , wherein said saw tool zone is located on a front surface of the head wherein said front surface is coplanar with one sidewall surface of the handle.

4. The tool of claim 3 , wherein said saw wrench tool is a hexagonal-shaped recess disposed proximate a heel of said lever pulling head.

5. The tool of claim 4 , wherein said saw wrench tool further comprises an outer edge, wherein said outer edge is angularly disposed relative to an outer surface of said handle.

6. The tool of claim 1 , further comprising a bottle opener wherein said bottle opener is formed from a cap lip in the sidewall.

7. The tool of claim 1 wherein the tool zone terminates in a non-threaded puller.

8. The tool of claim 1 , wherein said open wrench further comprises a peripheral wall generally octagonal in shape, wherein three sides of the octagon are missing to provide the opening of the wrench.

9. The tool of claim 1 , wherein said handle has at least one grip-enhancing feature wherein the grip-enhancing feature is defined in the edge surface.

10. The tool of claim 9 , wherein said grip-enhancing feature is disposed in an edge of said handle as an elongated hexagonally shaped recess.
