Methods Employing Fungicidal Active Substance Combinations Containing Trifloxystrobin
What are described are novel active compound combinations comprising a known oxime ether derivative (trifloxystrobin) and imidacloprid, which combinations are highly suitable for controlling phytopathogenic fungi and insects.

9 . A method for controlling insects comprising allowing an effective amount of

to act on the insects and/or a habitat thereof, or on plants, plant parts, seeds, soils, areas, materials or rooms to be kept free from said insects.
10 . The method according to claim 9 , wherein said composition comprises trifloxystrobin (I) and clothianidin (VII).
11 . The method according to claim 9 , wherein said composition comprises trifloxystrobin (I) and imidacloprid (II).
12 . The method according to claim 9 , wherein the weight ratio of the trifloxystrobin (I) to
(i) imidacloprid (II) is from 1:0.1 to 1:10,
(ii) thiacloprid (III) is from 1:0.05 to 1:20,
(iii) acetamiprid (IV) is from 1:0.05 to 1:20,
(iv) nitenpyram (V) is from 1:0.05 to 1:20,
(v) thiamethoxam (VI) is from 1:0.05 to 1:20,
(vi) clothianidin (VII) is from 1:0.05 to 1:20, or
(vii) dinotefuran (VIII) is from 1:0.05 to 1:20.
13 . The method according to claim 12 , wherein the weight ratio of the trifloxystrobin (I) to
(i) imidacloprid (ID is from 1:0.2 to 1:2,
(ii) thiacloprid (III) is from 1:0.1 to 1:10,
(iii) acetamiprid (IV) is from 1:0.1 to 1:10,
(iv) nitenpyram (V) is from 1:0.1 to 1:10,
(v) thiamethoxam (VI) is from 1:0.1 to 1:10,
(vi) clothianidin (VII) is from 1:0.1 to 1:10, or
(vii) dinotefuran (VIII) is from 1:0.1 to 1:10.
14 . A method according to claim 9 comprising applying trifloxystrobin and said one or more compounds simultaneously.
15 . A method according to claim 9 comprising applying trifloxystrobin and said one or more compounds separately.
16 . A method according to claim 9 comprising applying trifloxystrobin and said one or more compounds successively.
17 . The method according to claim 9 , wherein said trifloxystrobin and said one or more compounds are part of a composition further comprises one or more extenders and/or surfactants.
18 . A propagation material that has been treated by the method according to claim 9 .
19 . The propagation material according to claim 15 , wherein said propagation material is a seed.
