Abstract

Described herein are irreversible Btk inhibitor compounds, and methods for using such irreversible inhibitors in the treatment of diseases and disorders characterized by the presence or development of solid tumors.

Claims (10)

1. A method for treating a carcinoma in an individual comprising administering to the individual having a carcinoma, a compound having the structure:

or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein the carcinoma is breast cancer.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the breast carcinoma is a mammary ductal carcinoma or lobular carcinoma.

3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the carcinoma is an ER negative breast cancer.

4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the carcinoma is an ER positive breast cancer.

5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the carcinoma is a PgR negative breast cancer.

6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the carcinoma is a PgR positive breast cancer.

7. The method of claim 1 , wherein the breast carcinoma is a ductal carcinoma in situ, infiltrating ductal carcinoma, invasive lobular carcinoma, or lobular carcinoma in situ.

8. The method of claim 1 , wherein the irreversible inhibitor of Btk is administered orally.

9. The method of claim 1 , further comprising administering to the individual an additional anti-cancer agent.
