Abstract

This invention provides a mobile communication system which expanded the operation limitation of the heretofore adopted mobile communication systems and improved the spectrum efficiency greatly. A data transmission method for use in the mobile communication system of the present invention includes means for channel pluralizing by which to expand the Shannon limit and means for interference reduction by which to expand the interference limit. More specifically, a transmitting module comprises M units of modulators and L units of transmitting antennas, generates L units of signals by multiplying M units of modulated signals by a complex matrix consisting of M×L units of elements, and transmits the L units of signals from the L units of transmitting antennas.

Claims (15)

1. A communication apparatus comprising:

an encoder;

a modulator which generates a plurality of symbols on the basis of information inputted from the encoder; and

an operation unit which multiplexes the symbols provided serially by the modulator,

wherein the operation unit distributes the symbols into a plurality of signals, performs beam forming on each of the plurality of signals using a different vector, and outputs beam formed signals corresponding to a plurality of antennas for outputting to a wireless network.

2. A communication apparatus comprising:

an encoder;

a modulator which generates a plurality of symbols on the basis of information inputted from the encoder;

a serial-parallel converter which generates a plurality of signals based on the symbols; and

an operation unit which generates a matrix randomly,

wherein the operation unit performs beam forming of the plurality of signals based on the matrix, and outputs beam formed signals corresponding to a plurality of antennas for outputting to a wireless network.

3. An information processing device comprising:

a modulation unit which generates a plurality of modulation symbols;

a conversion unit which converts the modulation symbol into M units of signals (2≦M);

an operation unit which performs beam forming of the M units of signals by using a complex matrix consisting of M×L units of elements, and outputs L units of beam formed signals (2≦L).
