Abstract

An electrostatic latent image developing toner includes: a release agent; a pigment; and a binder resin. The content of the pigment is from about 10% by weight to about 50% by weight, the glass transition temperature (Tg) of the toner is in the range of from about −60° C. to about 20° C., and the Young's modulus at 20° C. is in the range of from about 1×10 0 MPa to about 1×10 3 MPa.

Claims (35)

1. An electrostatic latent image developing toner comprising:

a release agent;

a pigment; and

a binder resin,

wherein the content of the pigment is from 10% by weight to 50% by weight,

a glass transition temperature (Tg) of the toner is in the range of from −60° C. to 20° C., and

a Young's modulus of the toner at 20° C. is in the range of from 1×10 0 MPa to 1×10 3 MPa.

2. The electrostatic latent image developing toner according to claim 1 ,

wherein the binder resin contains a conjugated diene polymer from 40% by weight to 95% by weight with respect to the entire binder resin.

3. The electrostatic latent image developing toner according to claim 2 ,

7. The electrostatic latent image developing toner according to claim 1 ,

wherein the pigment is an aluminum powder.

8. The electrostatic latent image developing toner according to claim 1 ,

wherein the pigment content in the electrostatic latent image developing toner is in the range of from 20% by mass to 40% by mass with respect to the entire toner.

9. A developer for developing an electrostatic latent image, comprising:

the electrostatic latent image developing toner according to claim 1 .

10. The electrostatic latent image developing toner according to claim 1 , wherein the toner, when used, is able to form a peelable concealing layer.

11. The electrostatic latent image developing toner according to claim 1 , wherein the binder resin includes an elastomer having a glass transition temperature (Tg) from −65° C. to −10° C. and a Young's modulus at 20° C. from 10 −1 MPa to 10 3 MPa.

12. An image forming method comprising:
