Polymer-bound bisacylphosphine oxides
View Patent ↗The invention pertains to an oligomer or polymer substituted by one or more bisacylphosphine oxide moieties, characterized in that said bisacylphosphine oxide moiety is linked via the phosphorous atom, optionally via a spacer group, to the oligomer or polymer backbone; as well as to specifically functionalized bisacylphosphine oxides, suitable to prepare said polymers or oligomers.
1. A functionalized bisacylphosphine oxide compound of formula (II),
wherein
R 1 is C 1 -C 4 -alkyl, C 1 -C 4 -alkoxy or Cl;
R 2 is H, C 1 -C 4 -alkyl, C 1 -C 4 -alkoxy or Cl:
Y is —(CH 2 ) a — or —CH 2 —CHOH—CH 2 —;
a is an integer 1-10;
FG is Cl, Br, OH, SH, NH 2 , N 3 , COOH, COO − E + , COONH 2 ,
b is 0, 1 or 2;
c is 1 or 2;
R 3 is hydrogen or methyl;
R 4 is C 1 -C 4 alkyl;
R 5 and R 5a independently of each other are methyl, phenyl or ethoxy;
E is a cation;
provided that, if a is 1, FG is not
2. A functionalized bisacylphosphine oxide compound according to claim 1 where FG is
where R 4 is ethyl.
