Active polymeric filters
View Patent ↗A compound includes a polymer where the polymer includes a pendant dioxirane moiety. Cost-effective, facilitated generation of a polymer including a pendant dioxirane moiety allows for the compound to be disposable or be easily recycled. The compound can be used in air purification and liquid purification to not only remove particulate matter, but also to destroy microorganisms and remove volatile organic compounds.
