Abstract

The present invention provides O-nitro compounds, pharmaceutical compositions of O-nitro compounds and methods of using O-nitro compounds and/or pharmaceutical compositions thereof to treat or prevent diseases or disorders characterized by abnormal cell proliferation, such as cancer, inflammation, cardiovascular disease and autoimmune disease.

Claims (4)

1. A pharmaceutical composition comprising glycidyl nitrate or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, hydrate or solvate thereof, a pharmaceutically acceptable vehicle, and cis-platin.

2. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 1 , wherein the pharmaceutical composition comprises a salt of glycidyl nitrate.

3. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 1 , wherein the pharmaceutical composition comprises a therapeutically effective amount of glycidyl nitrate or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, hydrate or solvate thereof.

4. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 1 , wherein the pharmaceutical composition comprises from about 0.001 mg to about 100 mg of the glycidyl nitrate or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, hydrate or solvate thereof per kg body weight.
