Dioxirane compounds and uses thereof
View Patent ↗A dioxirane-containing compound has a first substituent that is an alkyl, polyalkoxy, aryl, heteroaryl, or heterocyclyl group, and a second substituent that is an electron withdrawing group, and where the first and second substituents can optionally join to form a cycloalkyl or heterocyclyl group. The dioxirane-containing compound can be used as an oxidant, surfactant, and/or an ionic liquid.
