Abstract

Comprehensive health analysis and reporting system that writes patient data, including patient identification information, test results, diagnostic information, and diagnostic results to various storage systems. The computer station establishes a network connection with a health report server, downloads patient data to the health report server which prepares a comprehensive report, and the report is transmitted back to the computer station where it may be distributed to the patient.

98 . The system of claim 94 wherein the at least one computer station provides an account number associated with a user related to the first medical data to the health report computer.

99 . The system of claim 94 wherein billing information is provided to the health report computer in conjunction with the medical data.

100 . The system of claim 99 wherein the billing information includes an account number.

101 . A system for monitoring and storing health records, the system comprising:

a plurality of health monitoring devices at one or more testing locations, the plurality of health monitoring devices including a first handheld test media reading device, the first handheld test media reading device generating first and second medical data;

at least one computer station at one or more testing locations;

a health report computer, the health report computer receiving the first and second medical data from the plurality of health monitoring devices, the health report computer requesting additional health information from the one or more testing locations via the at least one computer;

a computer providing and receiving information from the patient's physician or other medical personnel; and

a secure medical records maintenance computer, receiving the medical data from the health report computer and storing the first and second medical data securely.

102 . The system of claim 101 wherein the first handheld test media reading device is configured to read a first type of test media and a second type of test media, the first type of test media and the second type of test media each having different calibration data, the first and second type of test media returning first and second medical data.

103 . The system of claim 101 wherein the first handheld test media reading device includes the at least one computer.

104 . The system of claim 101 wherein the first handheld test media reading device is a test strip reader.
