Dinitropyrazole derivatives, their preparation, and energetic compositions comprising them
View Patent ↗The present invention provides: dinitropyrazole derivatives of formula (I) in which: R═NO 2 , NH 2 , NF 2 , NHOH, OH or NHNH 2 and R′═H when R═NH 2 , NF 2 , NHOH, OH or NHNH 2 or R′═H, NH 2 or a linear or branched C 1 -C 4 alkyl group, optionally substituted by at least one hydroxy and/or one fluoro group, when R═NO 2 ; other than 4-amino-3,5-dinitropyrazole; and also the salts of said derivatives of formula (I) in which R′═H; the preparation of said derivatives and of their salts; and energetic compositions comprising at least one of said derivatives and/or at least one salt of such a derivative.
1. 5-Azido-3,4-dinitropyrazole.
2. A process for preparing 5-azido-3,4-dinitropyrazole, comprising reacting 1,3,4-trinitropyrazole with an azide salt.
3. The process according to claim 1 , wherein the 1,3,4-trinitropyrazole is obtained by nitration of 3(5)-4-dinitropyrazole.
4. The process according to claim 3 , wherein said nitration is carried out in an acetonitric mixture or in a trifluoroacetonitric mixture.
5. The process according to claim 3 , wherein said nitration is carried out in a nitronium solution.
