Abstract

GPR120 agonists are provided. These compounds are useful for the treatment of metabolic diseases, including Type II diabetes and diseases associated with poor glycemic control.

Claims (21)

1. A compound of Formula (B-3) or (B-4):

wherein,

the ring Q is selected from the group consisting of aryl and

T 1 , T 2 , and T 3 are independently selected from the group consisting of CH and CH 2 , with the proviso that if one of T 1 , T 2 , and T 3 is CH, then —CR 4 R 5 — is attached to that T 1 , T 2 , or T 3 ;

X is selected from the group consisting of —CH 2 —, —CHD- and —CD 2 -;

Z is selected from the group consisting of H, alkyl, and substituted alkyl;

each R 3 is independently selected from the group consisting of halo, alkyl, substituted alkyl, alkoxy, and substituted alkoxy;

each R 4 and R 5 is independently selected from the group consisting of H and deuterium;

each R 6 is independently selected from the group consisting of halo, alkyl, substituted alkyl, and —OR a , wherein R a is alkyl;

the subscript k is 0, 1, 2 or 3; and

the subscript q is 0, 1, or 2;

or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.

2. The compound of claim 1 , wherein the compound is represented by Formula (C-3):

or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.

3. The compound of claim 2 wherein R 3 is independently selected from the group consisting of F, Cl, —CH 3 , —CF 3 and —OCH 3 .

4. The compound of claim 3 , wherein each R 6 is independently selected from the group consisting of F, Cl, —CH 3 , —C 2 H 5 and —CF 3 .

5. The compound of claim 4 , wherein Z is H or alkyl.

6. The compound of claim 5 , wherein Z is H.

7. The compound of claim 6 , wherein q is 2.

8. The compound of claim 7 , wherein each of R 4 and R 5 is H.
