Abstract

A radio communication system that includes an encoder configured to perform error correction coding for control channel information by a given error correction coding rate and a modulator configured to perform modulation of the error correction coded control channel information for transmission according to a given modulation scheme, code decimation being performed for the error correction coded control channel information prior to the modulation, and the code decimation being different according to whether Multi Input Multi Output is applied or not.

Claims (8)

1. A radio communication system comprising: an encoder configured to perform error correction coding for control channel information by a given error correction coding rate; a modulator configured to perform modulation of the error correction coded control channel information for transmission according to a given modulation scheme; and a processor configured to perform code decimation for the error correction coded control channel information prior to the modulation, when Multi Input Multi Output (MIMO) is applied, to reduce a number of transmitting bits of the error correction coded control channel information, so that the number of transmitting bits of the error correction coded control channel information is the same whether MIMO is applied or not.

2. The radio communication system according to claim 1 , further comprising:

a receiver configured to receive the error correction coded control channel information.

3. A radio communication system comprising:

a variable rate encoder configured to perform error correction coding for control channel information by selecting an error correction coding rate; and

a modulator configured to perform modulation of the error correction coded control channel information for transmission according to a specified modulation scheme,

wherein the specified modulation scheme is based on propagation conditions, and wherein the error correction coding rate is selected so a number of transmitting bits of the error correction coded control channel information when Multi Input Multi Output (MIMO) is applied is the same when MIMO is not applied.

4. The radio communication system according to claim 3 wherein when MIMO is applied code decimation is performed for the error correction coded control channel information prior to the modulation to reduce the number of transmitting bits of the error correction coded control channel information so that the number of transmitting bits of the error correction coded control channel information is the same whether MIMO is applied or not.
