Axial gap type generator
View Patent ↗There is provided an axial gap type generator. The an axial gap type generator includes: generator cases are fixed to a crank case of an engine; a rotor yoke housed inside the generator cases and fixed to a crankshaft of the engine; a first stator core and a second stator core fixed to inner faces of the generator cases and disposed flanking the rotor yoke in a rotation axis direction; generator case supports for supporting the generator case in such a manner that a surface section of the generator case opposing the crank case has a spacing between the surface section and the crank case.
1. An axial gap type generator comprising:
a generator case fixed to a crank case of an engine via a connection member;
a rotor yoke housed inside the generator case and fixed to a crankshaft of the engine;
a first stator core and a second stator core fixed to an inner face of the generator case and disposed flanking the rotor yoke in a rotation axis direction; and
a generator case support that supports the generator case in such a manner that a surface section of the generator case opposing the crank case has a spacing between the surface section and the crank case, wherein the generator case support includes at least one protrusion formed protruding from the generator case towards the crank case,
wherein the generator case support is disposed at a position apart from an oil reservoir in the crank case along an axial direction of the crankshaft.
2. The axial gap type generator according to claim 1 , wherein the generator case support is disposed further toward an outer diameter side than an outer peripheral edge of the stator cores.
3. The axial gap type generator according to claim 1 , wherein the crankshaft includes output shafts that protrude from both sides of the crank case.
4. The axial gap type generator according to claim 1 , wherein the oil reservoir is disposed at a bottom of the crank case.
5. The axial gap type generator according to claim 1 , wherein the generator case includes cooling fins which protrude in a radial direction from an outer peripheral face of a peripheral wall of the generator case.
6. The axial gap type generator according to claim 1 , wherein the generator case support is disposed radially outward from a peripheral wall of the generator case.
7. The axial gap type generator according to claim 1 , wherein the generator case support includes an abutting face section which protrudes in a form of steps on a crank case side of the generator case support, and
wherein the abutting face section abuts the crank case so as to form the spacing between the surface section and the crank case.
8. The axial gap type generator according to claim 1 , furthering comprising a blower housing fixed to the generator case at a location of the generator case support and on a side opposite the crank case of the generator case.
9. The axial gap type generator according to claim 2 , wherein the crankshaft includes output shafts that protrude from both sides of the crank case.
10. The axial gap type generator according to claim 2 , wherein the oil reservoir is located at a bottom of the crank case.
11. The axial gap type generator according to claim 2 , wherein the generator case includes cooling fins which protrude in a radial direction from an outer peripheral face of a peripheral wall of the generator case.
12. The axial gap type generator according to claim 2 , wherein the generator case support is disposed radially outward from a peripheral wall of the generator case.
13. The axial gap type generator according to claim 2 , wherein the generator case support includes an abutting face section which protrudes in a form of steps on a crank case side of the generator case support, and
wherein the abutting face section abuts the crank case so as to form the spacing between the surface section and the crank case.
14. The axial gap type generator according to claim 2 , furthering comprising a blower housing fixed to the generator case at a location of the generator case support and on a side opposite the crank case of the generator case.
