7. The apparatus according to claim 6 , wherein the at least one further device bus communication received from the keypad and communicated through the network port and through the network to the keypad device driver operating in the virtual machine, includes an encrypted personal identification number.

8. The apparatus according to claim 7 , wherein the at least one device bus communication received from the keypad device driver operating in the virtual machine and communicated through the at least one device port to the keypad, causes the keypad to encrypt the manual inputs received through the keypad.

9. The apparatus according to claim 2 , wherein the at least one application is operative to execute in the at least one processor of the computer and cause the computer to cause at least one device bus communication received from a cash dispenser device driver operating in the virtual machine to be communicated through at least one of the device ports to the cash dispenser, which at least one device bus commination causes the cash dispenser to dispense cash from the automated banking machine.

10. The apparatus according to claim 9 , wherein the at least one application is operative to execute in the at least one processor of the computer and cause the computer to cause at least one further device bus communication received from the cash dispenser device driver operating in the virtual machine to be communicated through the at least one device port to the cash dispenser, which at least one further device bus commination causes the cash dispenser to pick a bill from a note holding canister in the automated banking machine.

11. The apparatus according to claim 9 , wherein the at least one application is operative to execute in the at least one processor of the computer and cause the computer to cause at least one further device bus communication received from the cash dispenser device driver operating in the virtual machine to be communicated through the at least one device port to the cash dispenser, which at least one further device bus commination causes the cash dispenser to retract bills previously dispensed by the cash dispenser.

12. The apparatus according to claim 2 , wherein the automated banking machine includes a receipt printer in operative connection with at least one of the device ports, wherein the at least one application is operative to execute in the at least one processor of the computer and cause the computer to cause at least one device bus communication received from a receipt printer device driver operating in the virtual machine to be communicated through the at least one device port to the receipt printer, which at least one device bus commination causes the receipt printer to print a receipt corresponding to an amount of cash dispensed through operation of the cash dispenser.

13. The apparatus according to claim 12 , wherein the at least one application is operative to execute in the at least one processor of the computer and cause the computer to cause at least one further device bus communication received from the receipt printer device driver operating in the virtual machine to be communicated through the at least one device port to the receipt printer, which at least one further device bus commination causes the receipt printer to present the receipt from the automated banking machine.
