8. The method of claim 1 , wherein the information for the second wireless device comprises a configuration of the second wireless device associated with battery conservation.

9. The method of claim 1 , wherein the second wireless device associates with the first BSS.

10. The method of claim 1 , further comprising detecting the second wireless device, wherein services provided by the first BSS are advertised in response to detecting the second wireless device.

11. The method of claim 1 , further comprising detecting the second wireless device, wherein the services are advertised in response to receiving a probe message from the second wireless device.

12. The method of claim 1 ,

wherein the first BSS, in the plurality of BSSs, comprises a first access point device,

wherein advertising services provided by the first BSS to the second wireless device comprises advertising services provided by the first access point device, and

wherein a second BSS, in the plurality of BSSs, comprises a second access point device different than the first access point device.

13. The method of claim 1 ,

wherein the first BSS, in the plurality of BSSs, comprises a first access point device,

wherein a second BSS, in the plurality of BSSs, comprises the same first access point device.

14. A non-transitory computer readable storage medium comprising instructions which, when executed by one or more processors, causes performance of:

obtaining, by a first device, information for a second wireless device;

selecting, by the first device based at least on the information for the second wireless device, a first Basic Service Set (BSS) to provide services to the second wireless device, the first BSS being selected from a plurality of BSSs represented by a same Service Set Identifier (SSID);

advertising services provided by the first BSS to the second wireless device.

15. The computer readable storage medium of claim 14 , wherein advertising comprises transmitting a message comprising the SSID and a unique identifier for the first BSS.

16. The computer readable storage medium of claim 14 , wherein the first BSS is selected based at least on the information for the second wireless device and a first attribute value associated with the first BSS.

17. The computer readable storage medium of claim 16 , wherein the first attribute value comprises a Delivery Traffic Indication Message (DTIM) value.

18. The computer readable storage medium of claim 14 , wherein the information for the second wireless device comprises an indication of whether the second wireless device is Voice-Over-IP capable.

19. The computer readable storage medium of claim 14 , wherein the information for the second wireless device comprises an encryption scheme supported by the second wireless device.

20. The computer readable storage medium of claim 14 , wherein the information for the second wireless device comprises a configuration of the second wireless device associated with battery conservation.

21. The computer readable storage medium of claim 14 , wherein the first BSS is selected based at least on the information for the second wireless device, a first attribute value associated with the first BSS, and a second attribute value associated with a second BSS in the plurality of BSSs.

22. The computer readable storage medium of claim 14 , wherein the second wireless device associates with the first BSS.

23. The computer readable storage medium of claim 14 , further comprising detecting the second wireless device, wherein services provided by the first BSS are advertised in response to detecting the second wireless device.

24. The computer readable storage medium of claim 14 , further comprising detecting the second wireless device, wherein the services are advertised in response to receiving a probe message from the second wireless device.

25. The computer readable storage medium of claim 14 ,

wherein the first BSS, in the plurality of BSSs, comprises a first access point device,

wherein advertising services provided by the first BSS to the second wireless device comprises advertising services provided by the first access point device, and

wherein a second BSS, in the plurality of BSSs, comprises a second access point device different than the first access point device.

26. The computer readable storage medium of claim 14 ,

wherein the first BSS, in the plurality of BSSs, comprises a first access point device, and

wherein a second BSS, in the plurality of BSSs, comprises the same first access point device.

27. A first device comprising:

one or more hardware processors;

the first device being configured for:

obtaining, by a first device, information for a second wireless device;

selecting, by the first device based at least on the information for the second wireless device, a first Basic Service Set (BSS) to provide services to the second wireless device, the first BSS being selected from a plurality of BSSs represented by a same Service Set Identifier (SSID);
