Abstract

The present application provides a light-emitting device comprising a first light-emitting diode group with a first hot/cold factor comprising a plurality of first light-emitting diode units electrically connected to one another; and a temperature compensation element electrically connected to the first light-emitting diode group, and comprising a first resistor and a second resistor; wherein the first resistor has a first temperature coefficient of resistance and the second resistor has a second temperature coefficient of resistance; and the absolute value of the first temperature coefficient of resistance is ten times greater than that of the second temperature coefficient of resistance.

Claims (32)

1 . A light-emitting device, comprising:

a first light-emitting diode group with a first hot/cold factor comprising a plurality of first light-emitting diode units electrically connected to one another; and

a temperature compensation element electrically connected to the first light-emitting diode group, and comprising a first resistor and a second resistor;

wherein the first resistor has a first temperature coefficient of resistance and the second resistor has a second temperature coefficient of resistance; and

the absolute value of the first temperature coefficient of resistance is ten times greater than that of the second temperature coefficient of resistance.

2 . The light-emitting device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the first temperature coefficient of resistance is positive, and the first resistor is connected to the first light-emitting diode group in parallel.

3 . The light-emitting device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the second temperature coefficient of resistance is positive, and the second resistor is connected with the first resistor in series and connected to the first light-emitting diode group in parallel.

4 . The light-emitting device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the first light-emitting diode group comprises a light light-emitting diode configured to emit red light.

The light-emitting device as claimed in claim 1 , further comprising a second light-emitting diode group having a second hot/cold factor larger than the first hot/cold factor, the second light-emitting diode group comprising a plurality of second light-emitting diode units electrically connected to one another.

6 . The light-emitting device as claimed in claim 5 , wherein the second light-emitting diode group comprises a light light-emitting diode configured to emit blue light.

7 . The light-emitting device as claimed in claim 5 , further comprising a board, wherein the first and second light-emitting diode groups and the temperature compensation element are formed on the board.

8 . The light-emitting device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the temperature compensation element has a resistance at a first temperature greater than that at a second temperature wherein the second temperature is less than the first temperature.

9 . The light-emitting device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the first resistor has a first resistance and the second resistor has a second resistance, the first resistance being less than the second resistance.

10 . A light-emitting device, comprising:

a first light-emitting diode group comprising a plurality of first light-emitting diode units electrically connected to one another; and

a temperature compensation element electrically connected to the first light-emitting diode group in parallel, and having a first resistance at a first temperature and a second resistance at a second temperature;

wherein the first temperature is greater than the second temperature; and

wherein the first resistance is at least two times greater than that of the second resistance.

The light-emitting device as claimed in claim 10 , wherein the temperature compensation element comprises a plurality of resistors, and wherein at least two resistors of the plurality of resistors are electrically connected with the first light-emitting diode group and one of the at least two resistors is electrically disconnected with the first light-emitting diode group at the first temperature.

12 . The light-emitting device as claimed in claim 11 , wherein the temperature compensation element comprises a plurality of switches respectively coupled to the plurality of resistors.

13 . The light-emitting device as claimed in claim 12 , wherein one of the switches comprises a MOSFET, a micro-actuator, or a memory alloy.

14 . The light-emitting device as claimed in claim 11 , wherein the resistors have the same resistance.

15 . The light-emitting device as claimed in claim 10 , wherein the temperature compensation element comprises a first resistor having the first resistance and a second resistor having the second resistance; and wherein the first resistor is electrically connected with the first light-emitting diode group at the first temperature and the second resistor is electrically connected with the first light-emitting diode group at the second temperature.

16 . A light-emitting device, comprising:

a first light-emitting diode group comprising a plurality of first light-emitting diode units electrically connected to one another; and

a second light-emitting diode group electrically connected with the first light-emitting diode group in series and comprising a plurality of second light-emitting diode units electrically connected to one another;

wherein the light-emitting device has a first color temperature at a first temperature and a second color temperature at a second temperature less than the first temperature; and

wherein a difference of the first and second color temperatures is less than 300K.

17 . The light-emitting device as claimed in claim 16 , wherein the first light-emitting diode group comprises a light-emitting diode configured to emit red light.

18 . The light-emitting device as claimed in claim 16 , wherein the second light-emitting diode group comprises a light-emitting diode configured to emit blue light.

19 . The light-emitting device as claimed in claim 16 , wherein the first color temperature is greater than the second color temperature.

20 . The light-emitting device as claimed in claim 16 , wherein a difference between first temperature and the second temperature is greater than 20 degrees Celsius.
