Abstract

Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, are provided for processing analyte data. In some exemplary implementations, there is provided a method. The method may include generating, by at least one processor, a view comprising an abstraction distilled from the sensor data over a time period. The view may further comprise a graphical representation comprising a plurality of different graphically distinct elements representative of whether the abstraction over the time period is at least one of at, above, or within a predetermined glucose concentration level for a host; a call out comprising value help for the graphical representation, and a textual legend comprising a description of the graphical representation and the abstraction. The method may further include providing the view as a module. Related systems, methods, and articles of manufacture are also disclosed.

Claims (39)

1 . A method for generating a user interface associated with sensor data representative of a glucose concentration level in a host, comprising:

generating, by at least one processor, a view comprising an abstraction distilled from the sensor data over a time period, wherein the view further comprises:

a graphical representation comprising a plurality of different graphically distinct elements representative of whether the abstraction over the time period is at least one of at, above, or within a predetermined glucose concentration level for the host,

a call out comprising value help for the graphical representation, and

a textual legend comprising a description of the graphical representation and the abstraction; and

providing, by the at least one processor, the view as a module.

2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the time frame is selected from the group consisting of 8 hours, 1 day, 2 days, 7 days, and 30 days.

3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the graphically distinct elements use at least one of different shading or position to represent whether the abstraction over the time period is at least one of at, above, or within the predetermined glucose concentration level for the host.

4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the call out comprising the value help is coupled to one of the different graphically distinct elements and provides a numerical value for the one of the different graphically distinct elements.

5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the view is configured for presentation as a single page within the user interface.

6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the module includes metadata.

7 . The method of claim 6 , wherein the metadata includes information to enable selection of the module from among a plurality of modules.

8 . The method of claim 1 further comprising presenting the view.

9 . An apparatus comprising

at least one processor; and

at least one memory including code which when executed by the at least one processor provides operations comprising:

generating a view comprising an abstraction distilled from sensor data over a time period, wherein the sensor data represents a glucose concentration level in a host, and

wherein the view further comprises:

a graphical representation comprising a plurality of different graphically distinct elements representative of glucose variability including a rate of change of the sensor data over the time period,

a call out comprising value help for the graphical representation, and

a textual legend comprising a description of the graphical representation and the abstraction; and

providing the view as a module.

10 . The apparatus of claim 9 , wherein the time frame is selected from the group consisting of 8 hours, 1 day, 2 days, 7 days, and 30 days.

11 . The apparatus of claim 9 , wherein the graphically distinct elements use different shading to indicate whether the abstraction over the time period represents at least one of a high degree of stability, a low degree of stability, or a moderate degree of stability.

12 . The apparatus of claim 9 , wherein the call out comprises a numerical value for at least one of the different graphically distinct elements.

13 . The apparatus of claim 9 , wherein the view is configured for presentation as a single page within the user interface.

14 . A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium including program code, which when executed by at least one processor provides operations comprising:

generating at least one of a plurality of reporting modules configured to provide a view comprising an abstraction distilled from sensor data over a time period, wherein the sensor data represents a glucose concentration level for a host, and

wherein the view further comprises:

a graphical representation comprising a plurality of different graphically distinct elements representative of the glucose concentration level for the host,

a call out comprising value help for the graphical representation, and

a textual legend comprising a description of the graphical representation and the abstraction; and

providing the view as the at least one of a plurality of reporting modules.

15 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 14 , wherein the graphically distinct elements are representative of whether the abstraction over the time period is at least one of at, above, or within a predetermined glucose concentration level for the host.

16 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 14 , wherein the graphically distinct elements are representative of glucose variability over the time period.

17 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 14 , wherein the plurality of modules include metadata to enable selection of the at least one of the plurality of modules from among a plurality of modules.

The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 14 , wherein at least one of the plurality of reporting modules comprises an insights module including at least one of a plurality of insights detected based on a pattern and selected for presentation based on a ranking according to at least one of a user preference, a quantity of devices providing data, one or more types of devices providing data, and a correlation with the host.

The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 14 , wherein at least one of the plurality of reporting modules comprises a compare with module presenting a statistical comparison between the host and a group selected based on aggregate data representative of one or more of the following: a diabetes type associated with the group, an age associated with the group, a gender associated with the group, an age of diagnosis associated with the group, a location associated with the group, or a treatment facility associated with the group.

The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 14 , wherein at least one of the plurality of reporting modules comprises at least one of a patient information module, a highlights module, a high and low period of glucose module, a devices used module, a compared with module, a daily summary module, a weekly summary module, an over time summary module, a continuous glucose levels module, a report legend module, or a testing frequency module.
