USE OF TOUCH AND GESTURES RELATED TO TASKS AND BUSINESS WORKFLOW
A business data system generates a user interface display showing a business data record. The business data system receives a touch gesture user input to manipulate the business data record to perform an operation, a task or a workflow within the business data system. The business data system performs the operation, task or workflow based on the touch gesture user input.

displaying a user interface display showing a business record from a business data system, the user interface display showing a current team corresponding to the business record, and a team selection user input mechanism that provides a search user input mechanism and an open position user input mechanism;
when the search user input mechanism receives a team search touch gesture, receiving a search criteria touch gesture indicative of search criteria, searching for possible team members for open positions on the team based on the search criteria and displaying suggestions of the possible team members on the user interface display; and
when the open position user input mechanism receives an open position selection touch gesture to identify an open position on the team, searching for possible team members to fill the identified open position and displaying the possible team members to fill the identified open position on the user interface display.
2 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 and further comprising:
receiving a team member selection touch gesture to select a displayed possible team member.
3 . The computer-implemented method of claim 2 and further comprising:
assigning the selected possible team member to a given position on the team.
4 . The computer-implemented method of claim 3 and further comprising:
updating a display of the team to show the assigned team member to the given position on the team.
5 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 wherein displaying a user interface display showing a business record from a business data system, the user interface display showing a current team corresponding to the business record, comprises:
displaying a team configuration showing suggested positions for the team.
6 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 wherein displaying a user interface display showing a business record from a business data system, the user interface display showing a current team corresponding to the business record, comprises:
displaying team member information for assigned team members filling positions on the team.
7 . The computer-implemented method of claim 6 and further comprising:
receiving a touch gesture selecting an assigned team member; and
displaying additional information for the selected, assigned team member.

displaying open positions on the team.
9 . The computer-implemented method of claim 8 and further comprising:
receiving a touch gesture selecting an open position; and
displaying additional information for the selected open position.
10 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 wherein receiving a search criteria touch gesture indicative of search criteria, comprises:
receiving a position criteria touch gesture identifying characteristics of a team position.
11 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 wherein receiving a search criteria touch gesture indicative of search criteria, comprises:
receiving an availability criteria touch gesture identifying availability characteristics for a team position.
12 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 wherein receiving a search criteria touch gesture indicative of search criteria, comprises:
receiving a skill set criteria touch gesture identifying skill set characteristics of a team position.
13 . A computing system, comprising:
a team selector component that uses a user interface component to display a user interface display showing a business record from a business data system, the user interface display showing a current team corresponding to the business record, and a team selection user input mechanism that provides a search user input mechanism and an open position user input mechanism;
a suggestion component that, upon receiving a team search touch gesture from the search user input mechanism and a search criteria touch gesture indicative of search criteria, searches for possible team members for open positions on the team based on the search criteria and displays suggestions of the possible team members on the user interface display;
the suggestion component, upon receiving an open position selection touch gesture from the open position user input mechanism to identify an open position on the team, searches for possible team members to fill the identified open position and displays the possible team members to fill the identified open position on the user interface display; and
a computer processor being a functional part of the computing system and activated by the team selector component and the suggestion component to facilitate displaying the user interface display, receiving touch gestures, searching and displaying suggestions.
14 . The computing system of claim 13 wherein the business record comprises an opportunity business record indicative of a business opportunity and the team is assigned to the opportunity business record to work on the business opportunity.
15 . The computing system of claim 13 wherein the team selector component receives a team member selection touch gesture to select a displayed possible team member, assigns the selected possible team member to a given position on the team based on the team member selection touch gesture, and updates a display of the team to show the assigned team member to the given position on the team.
16 . The computing system of claim 13 wherein the team selector component displays, as part of the current team, a team configuration showing suggested positions for the team.
