Abstract

An information processing device includes an authenticating part to authenticate a user; an operating part for setting information, an authentication canceling part to cancel an authentication of the user, an operation condition memory part to cause a second memory part to memorize the setting information memorized in a first memory part, and a reproducing part to confirm whether or not the setting information is memorized in the second memory part when the authenticating part authenticates the user. In a case where memorized, the reproducing part reads the setting information from the second memory part, and to reproduce an operation condition based on the read setting information. In a case where not memorized, the reproducing part displays a non-user condition specification screen for the user's selecting one of multiple functions.

Claims (60)

1. An information processing device comprising:

an authenticating part that authenticates a user;

an operating part that receives setting information input by the user authenticated by the authenticating part, and to cause a first memory part to memorize the setting information;

an authentication canceling part that cancels an authentication of the user authenticated by the authenticating part, and to delete the setting information memorized in the first memory part;

an operation condition memory part that causes a second memory part to memorize the setting information memorized in the first memory part when the authentication canceling part cancels the authentication of the user; and

a reproducing part that confirms whether or not the setting information is memorized in the second memory part when the authenticating part authenticates the user, in a case where memorized, to read the setting information from the second memory part, and to reproduce an operation condition based on the read setting information; wherein

the reproducing part confirms whether or not the setting information is memorized in the second memory part, in a case where not memorized, displays a non-user condition specification screen for the user's selecting one of multiple functions, instead of displaying a user condition specification screen including the operation condition that is reproduced based on the setting information read from the second memory part.

2. The information processing device of claim 1 , wherein

the second memory part is an external memory medium.

3. The information processing device of claim 2 , wherein

the external memory medium is detachable with respect to the information processing device.

4. The information processing device of claim 2 , wherein

the authenticating part

receives first identification information from the user through the operating part,

reads second identification information from the external memory medium, and

collates the first identification information with the second identification information,

authorizing the user when the first identification information is determined to be collated to the second identification information, and

not authorizing the user when the first identification information is determined not to be collated to the second identification information.

5. The information processing device of claim 4 , wherein

the first identification information is a piece of information that is input by the user through the operating part and is to be used to identify the user, and

the second identification information is a password that has been memorized in the external memory medium when the user inputs the first identification information.

6. The information processing device of claim 1 , wherein

the authenticating part

receives first identification information from the user through the operating part,

reads second identification information from the second memory part, and

collates the first identification information with the second identification information,

authorizing the user when the first identification information matches the second identification information, and

not authorizing the user when the first identification information does not match the second identification information.

7. The information processing device of claim 1 , wherein

the cancel of user by the authentication canceling part means one of a logout of the user and a suspension of operations by the user.

8. A method of providing access to a user of an information processing device, comprising:

authenticating the user so that the user accesses the information processing device;

receiving setting information input by the user who is authenticated, and causing a first memory part to memorize the setting information;

canceling an authentication of the user, and deleting the setting information memorized in the first memory part;

causing a second memory part to memorize the setting information memorized in the first memory part when the authentication of the user is canceled;

confirming whether or not the setting information is memorized in the second memory part when the user is authenticated, and

in a case where the setting information is memorized, reading the setting information from the second memory part, and reproducing an operation condition based on the setting information that is read, and

in a case where the setting information is not memorized, displaying a non-user condition specification screen for the user's selecting one of multiple functions instead of displaying a user condition specification screen including the operation condition that is reproduced based on the setting information read from the second memory part.

9. The method of providing the access to the user of claim 8 , wherein

the second memory part is an external memory medium.

10. The method of providing the access to the user of claim 9 , wherein

the external memory medium is detachable with respect to the information processing device.

11. The method of providing the access to the user of claim 9 , further comprising:

receiving first identification information from the user;

reading second identification information from the external memory medium; and

collating the first identification information with the second identification information, wherein

the user is authorized when the first identification information is determined to be collated to the second identification information, and

the user is not authorized when the first identification information is not determined to be collated to the second identification information.

12. The method of providing the access to the user of claim 9 , wherein

the first identification information is a piece of information that is input by the user and is to be used to identify the user, and

the second identification information is a password that has been memorized in the external memory medium when the user inputs the first identification information.

13. The method of providing the access to the user of claim 8 , further comprising:

receiving first identification information from the user;

reading second identification information from the second memory part; and

collating the first identification information with the second identification information, wherein,

the user is authorized when the first identification information is determined to be collated to the second identification information, and

the user is not authorized when the first identification information is not determined to be collated to the second identification information.

14. The method of providing the access to the user of claim 13 ,

the first identification information is a piece of information that is input by the user and is to be used to identify the user, and

the second identification information is a password that has been memorized in the second memory part when the user inputs the first identification information.
