MULTI-TIERED, SECURE MOBILE TRANSACTIONS ECOSYSTEM ENABLING PLATFORM COMPRISING A PERSONALIZATION TIER, A SERVICE TIER, AND AN ENABLING TIER
A platform for performing secure personalized transactions in a multi-domain ecosystem includes a personalization tier that enables service provider personalization for one or more ecosystem elements stored on a mobile device. Further, the platform includes an enabling tier for facilitating interoperation between the personalization tier and a client device. The platform further includes a service tier that may be operating independently of the enabling tier and may enable service delivery for a plurality of services.

182 . A platform for secure personalized transactions in a multi-domain ecosystem comprising:
a personalization tier configured to enable service provider personalization of one or more ecosystem service elements each configured to facilitate user access to at least one service of the service provider via execution on a mobile device;
an enabling tier executing on the mobile device configured to facilitate interoperation of the personalization tier and a service tier with resources of the mobile device; and
the service tier further effecting secure delivery of the at least one service independently of the enabling tier via at least one of the one or more service provider personalized ecosystem service elements.
183 . The platform of claim 182 , further comprising a portion of the enabling tier executing on a server configured to effect secure delivery of the at least one service.
184 . The platform of claim 182 , wherein an enabling tier application operates in cooperation with a wallet container application adapted for execution on a plurality of different types of mobile devices.
185 . The platform of claim 184 , wherein the wallet container application enables an electronic wallet capability on the client device by abstracting client-specific runtime environment features.
186 . The platform of claim 182 , wherein an enabling tier application comprises a client runtime component adapted for execution on a mobile device.
187 . The platform of claim 186 , wherein the client runtime component is a client independent application that interoperates with client specific resources via a client independent API layer.
188 . The platform of claim 186 , wherein the client runtime component abstracts client specific runtime environment features to enable a wallet capability.
189 . The platform of claim 182 , wherein the personalization tier comprises a software development kit for developing a provider-specific wallet.
190 . The platform of claim 182 , wherein the service tier comprises a client-side workflow for a plurality of transaction service types, an instrument that facilitates mapping to real world instruments, and a trust model to facilitate two factor authentication.
191 . The platform of claim 182 , wherein an applet ecosystem service element comprises one of a wallet companion applet, a couponing applet, a wallet applet, an issuer applet, and a security domain applet.
192 . A platform for secure personalized transactions in a multi-domain ecosystem comprising:
a personalization tier for enabling service provider development, deployment, and personalization of one or more ecosystem service elements operable on a mobile device, the one or more ecosystem service elements selected from the list of ecosystem service elements consisting of wallets, widgets, containers, and applets;
an enabling tier configured to facilitate delivery of a plurality of personalized services by enabling interoperation between the mobile device and the one or more ecosystem service elements; and
a service tier operating independently of the enabling tier and configured to enable service provider service delivery for a plurality of services via at least one of the one or more ecosystem service elements personalized via the personalization tier.
193 . The platform of claim 192 , wherein an enabling tier application comprises a client runtime component adapted for execution on a mobile device.
194 . The platform of claim 193 , wherein the client runtime component abstracts client specific runtime environment features to enable a wallet capability.
195 . The platform of claim 192 , wherein the personalization tier comprises a software development kit for developing a provider-specific wallet.
196 . The platform of claim 192 , wherein the service tier comprises a client-side workflow for a plurality of transaction service types, an instrument that facilitates mapping to real world instruments, and a trust model to facilitate two factor authentication.
197 . A method comprising:
personalizing one or more ecosystem service elements operable on a mobile device selected from the list of ecosystem service elements consisting of wallets, widgets, containers and applets, wherein personalizing is based, at least in part, on service provider-specific requirements;
deploying the one or more personalized ecosystem service elements on a mobile device via a native enabling tier application executing on the mobile device; and
configuring a service tier to communicate with a plurality of remote service provider servers that are in electronic communication with the mobile device to enable delivery of a plurality of secure services to the mobile device via at least one of the one or more deployed ecosystem service elements.
198 . The method of claim 197 , wherein an enabling tier application operates in cooperation with a wallet container application adapted for execution on a plurality of different types of mobile devices.
199 . The method of claim 197 , wherein personalizing comprises employing a software development kit to configure a provider-specific wallet.
200 . The method of claim 197 , wherein an applet ecosystem service element comprises one of a wallet companion applet, a couponing applet, a wallet applet, an issuer applet, and a security domain applet.
201 . The method of claim 197 , wherein an applet ecosystem service element comprises a mobile device secure element applet.
