Abstract

Methods, computer devices, and computer readable media containing instructions for executing such methods are provided for the modification of digital images having a plurality of visual elements.

Claims (32)

1. A computer-implemented method, comprising:

displaying an image window at a first window size on a screen including a first, second, and third graphic elements, wherein respective sizes of the three graphic elements having a first size proportion between them; and

responsive to a request to change the image window size, displaying the image window at a second window size on the screen including the three graphic elements, wherein respective sizes of the first and second graphic elements in the image window at the second window size having the first size proportion between them and respective sizes of the first and a third graphic elements in the image window at the second window size having a second size proportion between them that is different than the first size proportion.

2. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , further comprising scaling the first graphic element based upon the request to change the window size.

The computer-implemented method of claim 2 , wherein the scaling is performed using a scaling algorithm selected from the group consisting of a bilinear algorithm, a bicubic algorithm, a Win32 Stretch-Blt algorithm, a Win32 StretchBlt with HALFTONE parameter algorithm, Mitchell algorithm, sinc algorithm, bessel algorithm, lanczos algorithm, catrom algorithm, cubic algorithm, quadratic algorithm, gaussian algorithm, blackman algorithm, hamming algorithm, hanning algorithm, hermite algorithm, triangle algorithm, box algorithm, and point algorithm.

4. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , further comprising retrieving from memory a replacement third graphic element to be displayed in the image window at the second window size.

5. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the image window is a poker gaming application.

6. The computer-implemented method of claim 5 , wherein the first graphic element represents a player.

7. The computer-implemented method of claim 5 , wherein the third graphic element represents one of a playing card, a poker chip, or a dealer.

8. A client device, comprising:

a display screen;

a processor, coupled to the display screen,

to output an image window at a first window size on the display screen including a first, second, and third graphic elements, wherein respective sizes of the three graphic elements having a first size proportion between them, and

responsive to a request to change the image window size, to output the image window at a second window size on the display screen including the three graphic elements, wherein respective sizes of the first and second graphic elements in the image window at the second window size having the first size proportion between them and respective sizes of the first and a third graphic elements in the image window at the second window size having a second size proportion between them that is different than the first size proportion.

9. The client device of claim 8 , wherein the processor to scale the first graphic element based upon the request to change the window size.

The client device of claim 9 , wherein the processor to use a scaling algorithm selected from the group consisting of a bilinear algorithm, a bicubic algorithm, a Win32 Stretch-Blt algorithm, a Win32 StretchBlt with HALFTONE parameter algorithm, Mitchell algorithm, sinc algorithm, bessel algorithm, lanczos algorithm, catrom algorithm, cubic algorithm, quadratic algorithm, gaussian algorithm, blackman algorithm, hamming algorithm, hanning algorithm, hermite algorithm, triangle algorithm, box algorithm, and point algorithm.

11. The client device of claim 8 , wherein the processor to retrieve from memory a replacement third graphic element to be displayed in the image window at the second window size.

12. The client device of claim 8 , wherein the image window is a poker gaming application.

13. The client device method of claim 12 , wherein the first graphic element represents a player.

14. The computer-implemented method of claim 12 , wherein the third graphic element represents one of a playing card, a poker chip, or a dealer.

15. A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing instructions, that when executed by a processor, perform the steps of:

displaying an image window at a first window size on a screen including a first, second, and third graphic elements, wherein respective sizes of the three graphic elements having a first size proportion between them; and

responsive to a request to change the image window size, displaying the image window at a second window size on the screen including the three graphic elements, wherein respective sizes of the first and second graphic elements in the image window at the second window size having the first size proportion between them and respective sizes of the first and a third graphic elements in the image window at the second window size having a second size proportion between them that is different than the first size proportion.

16. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 15 , further comprising scaling the first graphic element based upon the request to change the window size.

The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 16 , wherein the scaling is performed using a scaling algorithm selected from the group consisting of a bilinear algorithm, a bicubic algorithm, a Win32 Stretch-Blt algorithm, a Win32 StretchBlt with HALFTONE parameter algorithm, Mitchell algorithm, sinc algorithm, bessel algorithm, lanczos algorithm, catrom algorithm, cubic algorithm, quadratic algorithm, gaussian algorithm, blackman algorithm, hamming algorithm, hanning algorithm, hermite algorithm, triangle algorithm, box algorithm, and point algorithm.

18. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 15 , further comprising retrieving from memory a replacement third graphic element to be displayed in the image window at the second window size.

19. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 15 , wherein the image window is a poker gaming application.

20. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 19 , wherein the first graphic element represents a player.

21. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 19 , wherein the third graphic element represents one of a playing card, a poker chip, or a dealer.

22. The computer-implemented method of claim 6 , wherein the second graphic element represents another player.

23. The client device method of claim 13 , wherein the second graphic element represents another player.

24. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 20 , wherein the second graphic element represents another player.
