SYSTEMS AND METHODS TO DETERMINE A VALUE RELATING TO A POST
Products and processes are provided in which an award for a commitment from an entity to post information, via a posting site, at or before a subsequent time is offered to an entity. In response to receiving the commitment, the award is provided to the entity.

2 . An apparatus, comprising:
a processor; and
a storage device operatively coupled to the processor and containing instructions configured to direct the processor to:
receive information for a post relating to an item to be sold via a posting site;
determine a value in exchange for receiving the information for the post; and
provide the value in exchange for receiving the information.
3 . The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the value is provided as at least one of a credit usable for a purchase, a coupon redeemable for merchandise or a service from a merchant, a discount on a purchase, a deposit into an account usable for conducting transactions, or a monetary value.
4 . The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the value is provided when the information is posted.
5 . The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the value is provided when the information is received.
6 . The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the information is received from a mobile device.
7 . The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the information includes account information identifying an account usable for conducting transactions via the posting site.
8 . The apparatus of claim 7 , wherein the account information identifies an account of a seller of the item.
9 . The apparatus of claim 7 , wherein the account information identifies an account of a party other than a seller of the item.
10 . The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the information is received from a seller of the item and wherein the value is provided to the seller when the item is sold.
11 . The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the value provided is responsive to the post for the item being posted.
12 . The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the value provided is responsive to the item being sold.
13 . The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the value provided is responsive to a bid being received for the item.
14 . The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the value is a positive amount that is paid to an entity from which the information about the post is received.
15 . The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the value is a negative amount that is paid from an entity, from which the information about a post is received, to the posting site.
16 . A method comprising:
receiving information for a post relating to an item to be sold via a posting site;
using at least one processor, determining a value in exchange for receiving the information for the post; and
providing the value in exchange for receiving the information.
17 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the value is provided as at least one of a credit usable for a purchase, a coupon redeemable for merchandise or a service from a merchant, a discount on a purchase, a deposit into an account usable for a purchase, or a monetary value.
18 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the value is provided when the information is posted.
19 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the value is provided when the information is received.
20 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the value is deposited into an account usable for conducting transactions via the posting site.
21 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the information includes account information identifying an account usable for purchases via the posting site.
22 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the account information identifies an account of a seller of the item.
23 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the account information identifies an account of a party other than a seller of the item.
24 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the information is received from a seller of the item and wherein the value is provided to the seller when the item is sold.
25 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the value provided is responsive to the post for the item being posted.
26 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the value provided is responsive to the item being sold.
27 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the value provided is responsive to a bid being received for the item.
28 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the value is a positive amount that is paid to an entity from which the information about the post is received.
29 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the value is a negative amount that is paid from an entity, from which the information about a post is received, to the posting site.
30 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the information is received from a mobile device.
31 . A non-transitory computer readable medium storing instructions configured to direct a processor to:
receive information for a post relating to an item to be sold via a posting site;
determine a value in exchange for receiving the information for the post; and
provide the value in exchange for receiving the information.
