Abstract

A system for using telemetry data based on a patient habit information includes patient monitoring device coupled to a patient monitoring device that has a unique patient ID, and acquires patient information selected from of at least one of, a patient's activities, behaviors and habit information. The patient monitoring device includes ID circuitry that includes ID storage, a communication system which reads and transmits the unique ID from the ID storage, a power source and a pathway system to route signals through the circuitry. The telemetry system communicates with the patient monitoring device. The telemetry system includes a database of patient ID's. Telemetry data is analyzed using the telemetry system based on at least one of, patient's activities, behaviors and habit information. Personalized information about the patient is created.

Claims (44)

1 . A system for using telemetry data based on a patient habit information or patient monitoring, comprising:

one or more patient monitoring devices that has a unique patient ID, the one or more monitoring devices acquiring patient information selected from of at least one of, a patient's activities, behaviors and habit information, and patient monitoring;

ID circuitry at the patient monitoring device, the ID circuitry including ID storage, a communication system that reads and transmits the unique ID from an ID storage, a power source and a pathway system to route signals through the circuitry; and

a telemetry system in communication with the patient monitoring device, the telemetry system including a database of patient ID's, the telemetry system in communication with the patient monitoring device and the one or more systems, the telemetry analyzing telemetry data based on at least one of, patient's activities, behaviors and habit information, patient condition, and patient parameter, and creating personalized information about the patient.

The system of claim 1 , wherein the medical monitoring is selected from at least one of, cardiac, hemodynamic, respiratory, respiratory rate, hemodynamic, blood pressure, pulse oximetry, capnography, respiratory, neurologic, blood glucose, childbirth, body temperature, stress, epilepsy, and toxicity.

The system of claim 1 , wherein the medical monitoring device includes at least one of, a electrocardiography device or sensor, a Holter monitor, a cardiac output monitor, a Swan-Ganz catheter (ii) a blood pressure monitor, a pulse oximeter, an infrared finger cuff, a capnography monitor for CO2 measurements, an airway respiratory rate monitor, a transducer belt, an ECG channel, a neurological monitor, an intracranial monitor, a brain wave monitor, an anesthetic monitor, a bispectral index, blood glucose sensor, one or more childbirth monitors, body monitor, a thermoelectric transducer, a stress monitor, an epilepsy monitor and a toxicity monitor.

4 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising:

a control system at the patient monitoring device to orchestrate communication between different systems.

5 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising:

a noise reduction element at the patient monitoring device to reduce signal noise.

6 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising:

logic resources at the patient monitoring device to determine at least one of use, activity type, behavioral patterns and habits based on data relative to the patient.

7 . The system of claim 1 , wherein switching is performed between incremental and full syncing of data based on available communication routes.

8 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising:

conditioning electronics that in operation communicate signals from the patient monitoring device.

9 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the conditioning electronics include a filter that determine a presence of certain conditions.

10 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the conditioning electronics clean a signal for processing by a central processing unit (CPU) of the telemetry system.

11 . The system of claim 10 , wherein the CPU evaluates historical data.

12 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the telemetry system in operation creates different classifications for data received from the patient monitoring device.

13 . The system of claim 12 , wherein the classifications are selected from at least one of, a patient's location, where the patient spends its time, with whom the patient spends its time, a determination of working relationships, a determination of family relationships, a patient's activities, and a patient's social relationships.

14 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the telemetry system in operation provides firmware updates to the patient monitoring device.

15 . The system of claim 1 , wherein streams of information are sent from at least one sensor at the patient monitoring device to the telemetry system.

16 . The system of claim 15 , wherein the streams of information can include encrypted and non-encrypted information.

17 . The system of claim 16 , wherein patient information is sent from the patient monitoring device to a mobile device or computer.

18 . A system for using telemetry data based on a patient habit information or patient condition, comprising:

a patient monitoring device that has a unique patient ID, the patient monitoring device in operation receiving patient data selected from at least one of, a patient's activities, behaviors, habit information, patient condition and patient parameter;

conditioning electronics at the patient monitoring device for the patient data;

a telemetry system in communication with the patient monitoring device and the patient monitoring device, the telemetry system including a database of patient ID's; and

analysis elements at the telemetry system that in operation analyze telemetry data related to the patient data based on at least one of a patient's, activities, behaviors, habit information, patient condition and patient parameter.

The system of claim 18 , wherein the medical monitoring device includes at least one of, a electrocardiography device or sensor, a Holter monitor, a cardiac output monitor, a Swan-Ganz catheter (ii) a blood pressure monitor, a pulse oximeter, an infrared finger cuff, a capnography monitor for CO2 measurements, an airway respiratory rate monitor, a transducer belt, an ECG channel, a neurological monitor, an intracranial monitor, a brain wave monitor, an anesthetic monitor, a bispectral index, one or more childbirth monitors, body monitor, a thermoelectric transducer, a stress monitor and an epilepsy monitor.

20 . The system of claim 18 , further comprising:

noise reduction elements at the patient monitoring device.

21 . The system of claim 18 , wherein the telemetry system determines at least one of, activity type behavioral patterns and habits based on patient data.

22 . The system of claim 18 , further comprising:

elements at the patient monitoring device to engage in switching between incremental and full syncing of data based on available communication routes.

23 . The system of claim 18 , further comprising:

conditioning electronics that in operation communicate signals from the patient monitoring device.

24 . The system of claim 23 , wherein the conditioning electronics include a filter that determine a presence of certain conditions.

25 . The system of claim 23 , wherein the conditioning electronics in operation clean a signal for processing by a central processing unit (CPU) of the telemetry system.

26 . The system of claim 25 , wherein the CPU evaluates historical data.

27 . The system of claim 18 , wherein the telemetry system in operation provides different classifications of patient data received from the patient monitoring device.

28 . The system of claim 27 , wherein the classifications are selected from at least one of, a patient's location, where the patient spends its time, with whom the patient spends its time, a determination of working relationships, a determination of family relationships, a patient's activities, and a patient social relationships.

29 . The system of claim 18 , wherein the telemetry system in operation provides firmware updates to the patient monitoring device.

30 . The system of claim 18 , wherein streams of information are sent to the telemetry system from at least one sensor of the patient monitoring device.
