INTEGRATED MEDICAMENT DELIVERY DEVICE FOR USE WITH CONTINUOUS ANALYTE SENSOR
An integrated system for the monitoring and treating diabetes is provided, including an integrated receiver/hand-held medicament injection pen, including electronics, for use with a continuous glucose sensor. In some embodiments, the receiver is configured to receive continuous glucose sensor data, to calculate a medicament therapy (e.g., via the integrated system electronics) and to automatically set a bolus dose of the integrated hand-held medicament injection pen, whereby the user can manually inject the bolus dose of medicament into the host. In some embodiments, the integrated receiver and hand-held medicament injection pen are integrally formed, while in other embodiments they are detachably connected and communicated via mutually engaging electrical contacts and/or via wireless communication.
1 . A graphical user interface on a display device, comprising:
a graph having an x-axis representative of time and a y-axis representative of glucose concentration; and
one or more representations of sensor data plotted on the graph according to a value of the sensor data as compared to a predetermined target glucose concentration.
2 . The graphical user interface of claim 1 , wherein the representation of the sensor data is illustrated as a series of bars, the series of bars including both bars representative of glucose concentration below the predetermined target and bars representative of glucose concentration above the predetermined target.

The graphical user interface of claim 1 , further comprising a line representative of the predetermined target glucose concentration, wherein representations of sensor data below the predetermined target extend below a target line, and representations of sensor data above the predetermined target extend above the target line.

The graphical user interface of claim 1 , wherein the sensor data is generated by a continuous glucose sensor, and wherein the graphical user interface displays the graph and the representation of sensor data responsive to a computer processor executed by instructions embodied in a computer-readable medium.
5 . The graphical user interface of claim 1 , wherein the representation of the sensor data is indicative of an average of sensor data associated with a defined time period.
6 . The graphical user interface of claim 1 , further including a display of a representation of medicament delivery adjacent to a display of substantially time-corresponding sensor data representation.
7 . The graphical user interface of claim 1 , wherein the one or more representations are colored according to a severity based at least on a comparison of an associated value of the sensor data from the predetermined target.
8 . The graphical user interface of claim 1 , wherein sensor data representations above the target are represented in a first color and sensor data representations below the target are represented in a second color that is different from the first color.
9 . A method for providing a graphical representation of integrated continuous glucose sensor data, the method comprising:
obtaining continuous glucose sensor data indicative of a host's glucose concentration over time, the continuous glucose sensor data obtained using one or more continuous glucose sensors;
processing, using one or more processors, the continuous glucose sensor data; and
displaying, on a display device, a graph having an x-axis representative of time and a y-axis representative of glucose concentration, and one or more representations of sensor data plotted on the graph according to a value of the sensor data as compared to a predetermined target glucose concentration.

The method of claim 9 , wherein the representation of the sensor data is illustrated as a series of bars, the series of bars including both bars representative of glucose concentration below the predetermined target and bars representative of glucose concentration above the predetermined target.

The method of claim 9 , wherein the graph further comprises a line representative of the predetermined target glucose concentration, wherein representations of sensor data below the predetermined target extend below a target line, and representations of sensor data above the predetermined target extend above the target line.
12 . The method of claim 9 , wherein the representation of the sensor data is indicative of an average of sensor data associated with a defined time period.
13 . The method of claim 9 further including displaying a representation of medicament delivery on the graph adjacent to substantially a time-corresponding sensor data representation.
14 . The method of claim 9 , wherein the one or more of the representations are colored according to a severity based at least on a comparison of the associated value of the sensor data from the predetermined target.
15 . The method of claim 9 , wherein sensor data representations above the target are represented in a first color and sensor data representations below the target are represented in a second color that is different from the first color.
