Personalized webpage gifting system

1. A personalized webpage gifting system comprising:

a server in communication with a computing device and comprising at least one processor; and

an application executable by the at least one processor to:

generate a graphical user interface (GUI) for receiving recipient information associated with a recipient and one or more participants from a host;

create a personal uniform resource locator (URL) based upon at least a portion of the recipient information, wherein text of the personal URL comprises at least a portion of the recipient information;

receive, from the recipient, information associated with a wish list to be used by at least one of the host or participants for selection of at least one of a plurality of stored value cards;

receive a selection of whether the selection of the one of the plurality of stored value cards should be delivered electronically or via physical delivery;

generate a personalized webpage addressed by said personal uniform resource locator, the personalized webpage comprising personalized content received from the host and the one or more participants;

receive an individual video message from each of the host and the one or more participants; and

composite the received individual video messages into a single sequential video message by rendering the individual video messages in one or more pre-defined fields having a specified duration, the sequential video comprising the personalized content,

wherein the host is presented with an option to limit the specified duration of the individual video messages to be received.

2. The system of claim 1 , wherein the application generates the GUI for receiving, from the host, one or more administrative operations associated with the personalized webpage.

3. The system of claim 2 , wherein the application restricts the participants from performing the administrative operations.

4. The system of claim 2 , wherein the administrative operations comprise at least one of a delivery date that the personalized webpage is to be made available to the recipient, one or more content features to be included in the personalized webpage, an addition or deletion of at least one of the participant users.

5. The system of claim 1 , wherein the application generates one or more content features to be included in the personalized webpage, the one or more content features selected by the host user.

6. The system of claim 5 , wherein one content feature comprises an announcement board that is populated with user-supplied content provided by at least one of the participants and the host.

7. The system of claim 5 , wherein one content feature comprises a scrapbook.

8. The system of claim 1 , wherein the application receives gift card information associated with a gift card for the recipient, and activates the gift card using a financial account of at least one of the host or participants.

9. The system of claim 1 , wherein the individual video message is not contributed in the event that the individual video message is not the specified duration.

10. The system of claim 1 , wherein the application is further executable by the at least on processor to:

store the sequential video on a stored value card holder; and

receive a selection to deliver the stored value card holder by physical delivery.

11. A method comprising:

generating a graphical user interface (GUI) for receiving recipient information associated with the recipient and one or more participants from a host;

creating a personal uniform resource locator (URL) based upon at least a portion of the recipient information, wherein text of the personal URL comprises at least a portion of the recipient information;

generating a personalized webpage addressed by said personal uniform resource locator, the personalized webpage comprising personalized content for the recipient received from the host and the one or more participants; and

receiving, from the recipient, information associated with a wish list to be used by at least one of the host or participants for selection of at least one of the stored value cards;

receiving, from the recipient, a selection of whether the selection of the one of the plurality of stored value cards should be delivered electronically or via physical delivery;

receiving an individual video message from each of the host and the one or more participants; and

compositing the received individual video messages into a single sequential video message by rendering the individual video messages in one or more pre-defined fields having a specified duration, the sequential video comprising the personalized content,

wherein the host is presented with an option to limit the specified duration of the individual video messages to be received.

12. The method of claim 11 , further comprising generating the GUI for receiving, from the host, one or more administrative operations associated with the personalized webpage.

13. The method of claim 12 , further comprising restricting the participants from performing the administrative operations.

14. The method of claim 12 , wherein the administrative operations comprise at least one of a delivery date that the personalized webpage is to be made available to the recipient, one or more content features to be included in the personalized webpage, an addition or deletion of at least one of the participant users.

15. The method of claim 11 , further comprising generating one or more content features to be included in the personalized webpage, the one or more content features selected by the host user.

16. The method of claim 11 , further comprising receiving gift card information associated with a gift card for the recipient, and activates activating the gift card using a financial account of at least one of the host or participants.

17. The method of claim 11 , further comprising:

displaying the sequential video via the personalized URL; and

delivering the stored value card and a stored value card holder by physical delivery.

18. The method of claim 17 , wherein the user is notified of the personalized URL by an audio file stored on the stored value card holder.
