Abstract

The present invention relates to new peptides and to use thereof, in particular for treatment and/or prevention of infections, inflammations, pain, wounds, scar and/or tumors.

1. An isolated peptide comprising the amino acid sequence

2. The isolated peptide according to claim 1 , comprising CONH 2 at the carboxy terminal end.

3. The isolated peptide according to claim 1 , comprising CH 3 CONH at the amino terminal end.

4. A pharmaceutical composition comprising a peptide according to claim 1 .

5. A food stuff comprising a peptide according to claim 1 .

6. A method of treating bacterial infections, fungal infections, pain, wounds, and scars comprising administering to a patient in need thereof an effective amount of the isolated peptide according to claim 1 .

7. A method of treating bacterial infections, fungal infections, pain, wounds, and scars comprising administering to a patient in need thereof an effective amount of the pharmaceutical composition according to claim 4 .

8. A medicament comprising the isolated peptide according to claim 1 .
