Abstract

Provided are compositions, preferably azeotrope or azeotrope-like compositions comprised of 1,1,1,4,4,4-hexafluoro-2-butene and chlorotrifluoropropene, particularly 1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene (HCFO-1233zd), and uses thereof.

Claims (6)

1. Composition comprising from 1 to 30% by weight of trans-1,1,1,4,4,4-hexafluoro-2-butene and from 70 to 99% by weight of 2-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene.

2. Composition according to claim 1 wherein the composition is azeotropic or azeotrope-like.

3. Heat transfer composition comprising composition of claim 1 .

4. Blowing agent composition comprising composition of claim 1 .

5. Solvent composition comprising composition of claim 1 .

6. Sprayable composition comprising the composition of claim 1 .
