COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR TEETH WHITENING
Disclosed herein are teeth whitening compositions generally including an oxidizing agent, and an activating agent that has an emission wavelength between about 400 nm and about 570 nm. Methods of employing these compositions to whiten teeth, methods of making these compositions and kits that include some or part of the composition ingredients, are also described.

an oxidizing agent; and
Eosin Y and Fluorescein.
2 . A composition comprising:
an oxidizing agent; and
Eosin Y, Fluorescein and Rose Bengal.
3 . A composition comprising:
an oxidizing agent; and
Eosin Y and Rose Bengal.
4 . A composition comprising:
an oxidizing agent; and
Fluorescein and Rose Bengal.
5 . The composition of claim 1 , further comprising erythrosine.
6 . The composition of claim 1 , wherein the oxidizing agent is selected from hydrogen peroxide and carbamide peroxide.

12 . The composition of claim 1 , wherein Eosin Y is present in an amount of 0.001% to 1% weight per weight of the composition.
13 . The tooth whitening composition of claim 1 , wherein Fluorescein is present in an amount of 0.001% to 1% weight per weight of the composition.
14 . The tooth whitening composition of claim 2 , wherein Rose Bengal is present in an amount of 0.001% to 1% weight per weight of the composition.
15 . The tooth whitening composition of claim 5 , wherein Erythrosin is present in an amount of 0.001% to 1% weight per weight of the composition.

29 . A method for whitening teeth comprising:
providing a composition according to any one of claims 1 - 4 ;
applying the composition to at least one tooth; and
exposing the composition on the at least one tooth to actinic light.
30 . The method of claim 29 , wherein each tooth is exposed to the actinic light for about 1-30 seconds.
31 . The method of claim 29 , wherein each tooth is exposed to the actinic light for about 3-10 seconds.
32 . The method of claim 29 , wherein each tooth is exposed to the actinic light for about 5-10 seconds.
33 . The composition of claim 2 , further comprising erythrosine.
34 . The composition of claim 3 , further comprising erythrosine.
35 . The composition of claim 4 , further comprising erythrosine.
36 . The composition of claim 2 , wherein the oxidizing agent is selected from hydrogen peroxide and carbamide peroxide.
37 . The composition of claim 3 , wherein the oxidizing agent is selected from hydrogen peroxide and carbamide peroxide.
38 . The composition of claim 4 , wherein the oxidizing agent is selected from hydrogen peroxide and carbamide peroxide.
39 . The composition of claim 2 , wherein Eosin Y is present in an amount of 0.001% to 1% weight per weight of the composition.
40 . The composition of claim 3 , wherein Eosin Y is present in an amount of 0.001% to 1% weight per weight of the composition.
41 . The tooth whitening composition of claim 2 , wherein Fluorescein is present in an amount of 0.001% to 1% weight per weight of the composition.
42 . The tooth whitening composition of claim 4 , wherein Fluorescein is present in an amount of 0.001% to 1% weight per weight of the composition.
43 . The tooth whitening composition of claim 4 , wherein Rose Bengal is present in an amount of 0.001% to 1% weight per weight of the composition.
