Abstract

A method and computing system for defining a group of participants for a videoconference. A first video conferencing image is captured for a first participant of the videoconference, wherein the first participant is included within the group of participants. The first video conferencing image is stored within a first private folder associated with the first participant and a public folder associated with the group of participants. A second video conferencing image is captured for a second participant of the videoconference, wherein the second participant is included within the group of participants. The second video conferencing image is stored within a second private folder associated with the second participant and the public folder associated with the group of participants.

Claims (50)

1. A computer-implemented method comprising:

defining a group of participants for a videoconference;

associating a first private folder with a first participant of the group of participants so that only the first participant has access rights to the first private folder;

associating a second private folder with a second participant of the group of participants so that only the second participant has access rights to the second private folder;

associating a public folder with the group of participants so that the group of participants have access rights to the public folder;

capturing a first video conferencing image for the first participant of the videoconference;

storing the first video conferencing image within the first private folder and the public folder;

capturing a second video conferencing image for the second participant of the videoconference; and

storing the second video conferencing image within the second private folder and the public folder.

2. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 wherein the first participant has access rights to the first private folder, the second participant has access rights to the second private folder, and the group of participants has access rights to the public folder.

3. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 further comprising:

deleting the first video conferencing image from the first private folder and the public folder in response to a request from the first participant of the videoconference.

4. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 further comprising:

deleting the second video conferencing image from the second private folder and the public folder in response to a request from the second participant of the videoconference.

5. A computer-implemented method comprising:

defining a group of participants for a videoconference;

capturing a first video conferencing image for a first participant of the videoconference, wherein the first participant is included within the group of participants;

storing the first video conferencing image within a first private folder associated with the first participant and a public folder associated with the group of participants;

capturing a second video conferencing image for a second participant of the videoconference, wherein the second participant is included within the group of participants; and

storing the second video conferencing image within a second private folder associated with the second participant and the public folder associated with the group of participants.

6. The computer-implemented method of claim 5 wherein the first participant has access rights to the first private folder, the second participant has access rights to the second private folder, and the group of participants has access rights to the public folder.

7. The computer-implemented method of claim 5 wherein the first and second video conferencing images are video conferencing screen capture still images.

8. The computer-implemented method of claim 5 further comprising:

deleting the first video conferencing image from the first private folder and the public folder in response to a request from the first participant of the videoconference.

9. The computer-implemented method of claim 5 further comprising:

deleting the second video conferencing image from the second private folder and the public folder in response to a request from the second participant of the videoconference.

10. The computer-implemented method of claim 5 further comprising:

associating the first private folder with the first participant so that only the first participant has access rights to the first private folder.

11. The computer-implemented method of claim 5 further comprising:

associating the second private folder with the second participant so that only the second participant has access rights to the second private folder.

12. The computer-implemented method of claim 5 further comprising:

associating the public folder with the group of participants so that the group of participants have access rights to the public folder.

13. A computing system including a processor and memory configured to perform operations comprising:

defining a group of participants for a videoconference;

capturing a first video conferencing image for a first participant of the videoconference, wherein the first participant is included within the group of participants;

storing the first video conferencing image within a first private folder associated with the first participant and a public folder associated with the group of participants;

capturing a second video conferencing image for a second participant of the videoconference, wherein the second participant is included within the group of participants; and

storing the second video conferencing image within a second private folder associated with the second participant and the public folder associated with the group of participants.

14. The computing system of claim 13 wherein the first participant has access rights to the first private folder, the second participant has access rights to the second private folder, and the group of participants has access rights to the public folder.

15. The computing system of claim 13 wherein the first and second video conferencing images are video conferencing screen capture still images.

16. The computing system of claim 13 further comprising:

deleting the first video conferencing image from the first private folder and the public folder in response to a request from the first participant of the videoconference.

17. The computing system of claim 13 further comprising:

deleting the second video conferencing image from the second private folder and the public folder in response to a request from the second participant of the videoconference.

18. The computing system of claim 13 further comprising:

associating the first private folder with the first participant so that only the first participant has access rights to the first private folder.

19. The computing system of claim 13 further comprising:

associating the second private folder with the second participant so that only the second participant has access rights to the second private folder.

20. The computing system of claim 13 further comprising:

associating the public folder with the group of participants so that the group of participants have access rights to the public folder.
