Abstract

Disclosed herein are methods and devices for repairing articular surfaces. The articular surface repairs are customizable or highly selectable by patient and geared toward providing optimal fit and function.

Claims (3)

1 . A method of implanting a customizable implant configured for placement in a joint of a patient, wherein the implant comprises an expandable body, the method comprising:

preparing the joint of the patient for receiving the implant including the body; and

expanding the body such that a first exterior surface of the implant engages a first surface of the joint of the patient, wherein the first exterior surface substantially matches a contour of the first surface of the joint of the patient.
