Abstract

Dosing regimens, methods of treatment, controlled release formulations, and combination therapies that include an HDAC inhibitor, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, are described.

Claims (22)

1. A method of treating a hematologic cancer selected from: B-cell lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma, chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), and multiple myeloma in an individual in need thereof, comprising administering to the individual a therapeutically-effective amount of Compound 1

or a pharmaceutically-acceptable salt thereof.

2. The method of claim 1 , further comprising administering bendamustine.

3. The method of claim 1 , further comprising administering doxorubicin.

4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the hematologic cancer is Hodgkin lymphoma.

5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the hematologic cancer is CLL.

6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the hematologic cancer is multiple myeloma.

7. A method of treating a sarcoma in an individual in need thereof, comprising administering to the individual a therapeutically-effective amount of Compound 1

or a pharmaceutically-acceptable salt thereof.

8. The method of claim 7 , further comprising administering doxorubicin.

9. A method of treating a cancer in an individual in need thereof, comprising administering to the individual:

(a) a therapeutically-effective amount of Compound 1

or a pharmaceutically-acceptable salt thereof, and

(b) an anti-cancer agent, selected from bendamustine, a proteasome inhibitor or doxorubicin.

10. The method of claim 9 , wherein the anti-cancer agent is bendamustine.

11. The method of claim 10 , wherein the cancer is a lymphoma.

12. The method of claim 9 , wherein the anti-cancer agent is a proteasome inhibitor.

13. The method of claim 12 , wherein the cancer is Hodgkin lymphoma, CLL, or Burkitt's lymphoma.

14. The method of claim 10 , wherein the cancer is multiple myeloma or Burkitt's lymphoma.

15. The method of claim 9 , wherein the anti-cancer agent is doxorubicin.

16. The method of claim 15 , wherein the cancer is non-Hodgkin's lymphoma or Burkitt's lymphoma.

17. The method of claim 1 , further comprising administering a proteasome inhibitor.
