Cyclosporin compositions
View Patent ↗A composition comprising from about 0.001% to about 0.4% cyclosporin A, a surfactant, and an oil having a specific gravity from 0.8 to 0.95 is disclosed herein.
1. A composition comprising from 0.005% to 0.01 cyclosporin A, polysorbate 80, and an oil selected from the group consisting of almond oil, corn oil, arachis oil, cottonseed oil, safflower oil, maize oil, linseed oil, rapeseed oil, soybean oil, olive oil, caraway oil, rosemary oil, peppermint oil, sunflower oil, and eucalyptus oil, wherein said composition is an ophthalmically acceptable emulsion.
2. The composition of claim 1 wherein the oil is almond oil.
3. The composition of claim 1 wherein the oil is corn oil.
4. The composition of claim 1 wherein the oil is arachis oil.
5. The composition of claim 1 wherein the oil is cottonseed oil.
6. The composition of claim 1 wherein the oil is safflower oil.
7. The composition of claim 1 wherein the oil is maize oil.
8. The composition of claim 1 wherein the oil is linseed oil.
9. The composition of claim 1 wherein the oil is rapeseed oil.
10. The composition of claim 1 wherein the oil is soybean oil.
11. The composition of claim 1 wherein the oil is olive oil.
12. The composition of claim 1 wherein the oil is caraway oil.
13. The composition of claim 1 wherein the oil is rosemary oil.
14. The composition of claim 1 wherein the oil is peppermint oil.
15. The composition of claim 1 wherein the oil is sunflower oil.
16. The composition of claim 1 wherein the oil is eucalyptus oil.
