Abstract

Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for wireless network deployment are disclosed. The systems, methods, and computer-readable media receive data from one or more client devices regarding one or more data sessions, wherein the received data comprises one or more identifiers and one or more data session characteristics. The systems, methods, and computer-readable media determine one or more locations associated with the one or more data sessions based on the one or more identifiers, and determine one or more deployment values for each of the one or more locations associated with the one or more data sessions based on the one or more data session characteristics. In addition, systems, methods, and computer-readable media output data associated with one or more wireless network deployment candidate locations based on the one or more locations associated with the one or more data sessions and the one or more deployment values.

52 . A system comprising:

at least one processor;

at least one memory device comprising instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the system to perform operations comprising:

receiving data from one or more client devices regarding one or more data sessions, wherein the received data comprises one or more identifiers and one or more data session characteristics;

determining one or more locations associated with the one or more data sessions based on the one or more identifiers;

determining one or more deployment values for each of the one or more locations associated with the one or more data sessions based on the one or more data session characteristics; and

outputting data associated with one or more wireless network deployment candidate locations based on the one or more locations associated with the one or more data sessions and the one or more deployment values.

53 . The system of claim 52 , wherein the one or more identifiers comprise at least one of an SSID or a coarse location.

54 . The system of claim 52 , wherein determining the one or more locations associated with the one or more data sessions further comprises:

generating a search string based on the one or more identifiers; and

determining the one or more locations associated with the one or more data sessions based on search results, associated with the search string, received from one or more search engines.

55 . The system of claim 52 , wherein the one or more data session characteristics comprise at least one of a RSSI, a security status, a start and end data session time, an amount of data transferred, a speed of data transferred, or a number of mobile devices connected.

56 . The system of claim 52 , wherein the one or more deployment values comprise at least one of a deployment score or an owner likelihood score.

57 . The system of claim 56 , wherein locations associated with relatively high owner likelihood scores are output as existing resource candidates.

58 . The system of claim 56 , wherein locations associated with relatively high deployment scores and relatively low owner likelihood scores are output as candidates for new deployment.

59 . The system of claim 52 , wherein the outputting further comprises outputting a map based on the one or more data session characteristics and the one or more locations associated with the one or more data sessions.

60 . The system of claim 59 , wherein the one or more data session characteristics comprise one or more traffic density values.

61 . The system of claim 52 , wherein each of the one or more deployment values is associated with a time of day.

62 . A method comprising:

receiving data from one or more client devices regarding one or more data sessions, wherein the received data comprises one or more identifiers and one or more data session characteristics;

determining, using at least one processor, one or more locations associated with the one or more data sessions based on the one or more identifiers;

determining, using at least one processor, one or more deployment values for each of the one or more locations associated with the one or more data sessions based on the one or more data session characteristics; and

outputting data associated with one or more wireless network deployment candidate locations based on the one or more locations associated with the one or more data sessions and the one or more deployment values.

63 . The method of claim 62 , wherein the one or more identifiers comprise at least one of an SSID or a coarse location.

64 . The method of claim 62 , wherein determining the one or more locations associated with the one or more data sessions further comprises:

generating a search string based on the one or more identifiers; and

determining the one or more locations associated with the one or more data sessions based on search results, associated with the search string, received from one or more search engines.

65 . The method of claim 62 , wherein the one or more data session characteristics comprise at least one of a RSSI, a security status, a start and end data session time, an amount of data transferred, a speed of data transferred, or a number of mobile devices connected.

66 . The method of claim 62 , wherein the one or more deployment values comprise at least one of a deployment score or an owner likelihood score.

67 . The method of claim 66 , wherein locations associated with relatively high owner likelihood scores are output as existing resource candidates.

68 . The method of claim 66 , wherein locations associated with relatively high deployment scores and relatively low owner likelihood scores are output as candidates for new deployment.

69 . The method of claim 62 , wherein the outputting further comprises outputting a map based on the one or more data session characteristics and the one or more locations associated with the one or more data sessions.

70 . The method of claim 69 , wherein the one or more data session characteristics comprise one or more traffic density values.

71 . The method of claim 70 , wherein each of the one or more deployment values is associated with a time of day.

72 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising instructions for a server, the instructions being executable by a processor of the server for causing the server to perform operations comprising:

receiving data from one or more client devices regarding one or more data sessions, wherein the received data comprises one or more identifiers and one or more data session characteristics;

determining one or more locations associated with the one or more data sessions based on the one or more identifiers;

determining one or more deployment values for each of the one or more locations associated with the one or more data sessions based on the one or more data session characteristics; and

outputting data associated with one or more wireless network deployment candidate locations based on the one or more locations associated with the one or more data sessions and the one or more deployment values.

73 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 72 , wherein the one or more identifiers comprise at least one of an SSID or a coarse location.

74 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 72 , wherein determining the one or more locations associated with the one or more data sessions further comprises:

generating a search string based on the one or more identifiers; and

determining the one or more locations associated with the one or more data sessions based on search results, associated with the search string, received from one or more search engines.

The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 72 , wherein the one or more data session characteristics comprise at least one of a RSSI, a security status, a start and end data session time, an amount of data transferred, a speed of data transferred, or a number of mobile devices connected.

76 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 72 , wherein the one or more deployment values comprise at least one of a deployment score or an owner likelihood score.

77 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 76 , wherein locations associated with relatively high owner likelihood scores are output as existing resource candidates.

78 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 76 , wherein locations associated with relatively high deployment scores and relatively low owner likelihood scores are output as candidates for new deployment.

79 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 72 , wherein the outputting further comprises outputting a map based on the one or more data session characteristics and the one or more locations associated with the one or more data sessions.

80 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 79 , wherein the one or more data session characteristics comprise one or more traffic density values.

81 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 80 , wherein each of the one or more deployment values is associated with a time of day.

82 . A system comprising:

at least one processor;

at least one memory device comprising instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the system to perform operations comprising:

receiving data from one or more client devices regarding one or more data sessions, wherein the received data comprises one or more identifiers;

generating a search string based on the one or more identifiers; and

determining one or more wireless network deployment candidate locations based on search results, associated with the search string, received from one or more search engines.

83 . The system of claim 82 , wherein the one or more identifiers comprise at least one of an SSID or a coarse location.

84 . A method comprising:

receiving data from one or more client devices regarding one or more data sessions, wherein the received data comprises one or more identifiers;

generating a search string based on the one or more identifiers; and

determining, using a processor, one or more wireless network deployment candidate locations based on search results, associated with the search string, received from one or more search engines.

85 . The method of claim 84 , wherein the one or more identifiers comprise at least one of an SSID or a coarse location.

86 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising instructions for a device, the instructions being executable by a processor of the device for causing the device to perform operations comprising:

receiving data from one or more client devices regarding one or more data sessions, wherein the received data comprises one or more identifiers;

generating a search string based on the one or more identifiers; and

determining one or more wireless network deployment candidate locations based on search results, associated with the search string, received from one or more search engines.

87 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 86 , wherein the one or more identifiers comprise at least one of an SSID or a coarse location.
