Abstract

A system for providing mobile advertisement actions may include a memory to store a request, mobile carrier data, mobile advertisement data, and mobile advertisement action data. The system may include an interface operatively connected to the memory to communicate with a mobile device. The system may include a processor operatively connected to the memory and the interface. The processor may receive information and a request from the mobile device via the interface and may determine the mobile carrier data relating to a mobile carrier associated with the mobile device. The processor may identify the mobile advertisement data and the mobile advertisement action targeted to the request and the mobile carrier data. The processor may append the mobile advertisement action data to the mobile advertisement data. The processor may provide the mobile advertisement data with the appended mobile advertisement action data to the mobile device via the interface.

Claims (81)

1. A system, comprising:

a non-transitory processor-readable storage medium including a set of instructions for providing an advertisement including advertisement actions; and

a processor in communication with the storage medium, the processor being configured to execute the set of instructions to:

receive an advertising request from a mobile device, the mobile device being in communication with an advertising service provider;

identify an advertisement associated with the advertising request;

identify an advertisement action associated with the identified advertisement, the advertisement action being configured to be activated by a voice instruction from a user to the mobile device and executed by the mobile device;

determine whether the mobile device is capable of performing the advertisement action;

determine whether the mobile device has limited bandwidth available;

in response to a determination that the mobile device is capable of performing the advertisement action, append the advertisement action to the identified advertisement, wherein appending the advertisement to the identified advertisement comprises:

in response to a determination that the mobile device has limited bandwidth available, associating the identified advertisement with a link configured to, upon activation by the mobile device, request from the advertising service provider instructions configured to be executed by the mobile device to implement the advertisement action; and

provide the identified advertisement with the appended advertisement action to the mobile device.

2. The system of claim 1 , wherein the advertising request is a request to perform a search based on a keyword; and

the identified advertisement and the advertisement action are associated with the keyword.

3. The system of claim 1 , wherein the advertisement action is a set of computer programmed functions configured to be executed by the mobile device.

4. The system of claim 1 , wherein the processor is further configured to execute the set of instruction to:

identify a geographical location of the mobile device.

5. The system of claim 4 , wherein the identified advertisement is associated with the geographical location of the mobile device.

6. The system of claim 4 , wherein the geographical location of the mobile device is identified based on at least one of:

geographical location of a cell phone tower in communication with the mobile device;

an IP address of the mobile device; or

a global positioning system in communication with the mobile device.

7. The system of claim 1 , wherein the identified advertisement is associated with an advertiser; and

wherein the advertisement action is at least one of:

dialing a phone number of the advertiser;

making a reservation with the advertiser;

displaying a map of a geographical location of the advertiser;

displaying a direction from a geographical location of the mobile device to the geographical location of the advertiser;

purchasing a product from the advertiser; or

receiving a coupon from the advertiser.

8. A computer-implemented method for providing a mobile advertisement including mobile advertisement actions, comprising:

receiving, by a processor of an advertising service provider, an advertising request from a mobile device, the mobile device being in communication with the advertising service provider;

identifying, by the processor, an advertisement associated with the advertising request;

identifying, by the processor, an advertisement action associated with the identified advertisement, the advertisement action being configured to be activated by a voice instruction from a user to the mobile device and executed by the mobile device;

determining, by the processor, whether the mobile device is capable of performing the advertisement action;

determining, by the processor, whether the mobile device has limited bandwidth available;

in response to a determination by the processor that the mobile device is capable of performing the advertisement action, appending, by the processor, the advertisement action to the identified advertisement, wherein appending the advertisement to the identified advertisement comprises:

in response to a determination that the mobile device has limited bandwidth available, associating the identified advertisement with a link configured to, upon activation by the mobile device, request from the advertising service provider instructions to be executed by the mobile device to implement the advertisement action; and

providing, by the processor, the identified advertisement with the appended advertisement action to the mobile device.

9. The method of claim 8 , wherein the advertising request is a request to perform a search based on a keyword; and

the identified advertisement and the advertisement action are associated with the keyword.

10. The method of claim 8 , wherein the advertisement action is a set of computer programmed functions configured to be executed by the mobile device.

11. The method of claim 8 , further comprising:

identifying, by the processor, a geographical location of the mobile device.

12. The method of claim 11 , wherein the identified advertisement is associated with the geographical location of the mobile device.

13. The method of claim 11 , wherein the geographical location of the mobile device is identified based on at least one of:

geographical location of a cell phone tower in communication with the mobile device;

an IP address of the mobile device; or

a global positioning system in communication with the mobile device.

14. The method of claim 8 , wherein the identified advertisement is associated with an advertiser; and

wherein the advertisement action is at least one of:

dialing a phone number of the advertiser;

making a reservation with the advertiser;

displaying a map of a geographical location of the advertiser;

displaying a direction from a geographical location of the mobile device to the geographical location of the advertiser;

purchasing a product from the advertiser; or

receiving a coupon from the advertiser.

15. A non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising a set of instructions for providing a mobile advertisement including mobile advertisement actions, the set of instructions configured to be executed by a processor to cause the processor to perform operations of:

receiving an advertising request from a mobile device, the mobile device being in communication with the advertising service provider;

identifying an advertisement associated with the advertising request;

identifying an advertisement action associated with the identified advertisement, the advertisement action being configured to be activated by a voice instruction from a user to the mobile device and executed by the mobile device;

determining whether the mobile device is capable of performing the advertisement action;

determining whether the mobile device has limited bandwidth available;

in response to a determination that the mobile device is capable of performing the advertisement action, appending the advertisement action to the identified advertisement, wherein appending the advertisement to the identified advertisement comprises:

in response to a determination that the mobile device has limited bandwidth available, associating the identified advertisement with a link configured to, upon activation by the mobile device, request from the advertising service provider instructions to be executed by the mobile device to implement the advertisement action; and

providing the identified advertisement with the appended advertisement action to the mobile device.

16. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the advertising request is a request to perform a search based on a keyword; and

the identified advertisement and the advertisement action are associated with the keyword.

17. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the advertisement action is a set of computer programmed functions configured to be executed by the mobile device to perform at least one of:

dialing a phone number of the advertiser;

making a reservation with the advertiser;

displaying a map of a geographical location of the advertiser;

displaying a direction from a geographical location of the mobile device to the geographical location of the advertiser;

purchasing a product from the advertiser; or

receiving a coupon from the advertiser.

18. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the set of instructions configured to be executed by a processor to cause the processor to perform an operation of:

identifying a geographical location of the mobile device.

19. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 18 , wherein the identified advertisement is associated with the geographical location of the mobile device.

20. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 18 , wherein the geographical location of the mobile device is identified based on at least one of:

geographical location of a cell phone tower in communication with the mobile device;
