Systems and methods for variable video production, distribution and presentation
Methods, apparatus, systems and machine readable medium for variable video production, distribution and presentation are disclosed. An example composer to author a variable video includes a labeler to tag each of a plurality of scenes with at least one vector based on the content of the respective scenes. In addition, the example composer includes a receiver to define relevance data to be obtained from intended viewers of respective versions of the variable video. A mapper is also included to chart a sequence of two or more of the scenes, at least one of the scenes being a variable scene. The variable scene includes content selected based on the vector and the respective relevance data to form respective versions of the variable video. The example composer further includes a publisher to publish the variable video as a single file for creating the respective versions of the variable video.
1. A composer to author a variable video including a plurality of scenes, the composer comprising:
a labeler to tag each of the plurality of scenes with at least one vector based on content of the respective scenes;
a receiver to define first relevance data to be obtained from a first intended viewer of a first version of the variable video and to define second relevance data to be obtained from a second intended viewer of a second version of the variable video;
a mapper to chart a sequence of two or more of the plurality of scenes, at least one of the plurality of scenes being a variable scene, the variable scene comprising:
first content selected based on the at least one vector and the first relevance data to form the first version of the variable video, and
second content selected based on the at least one vector and the second relevance data to form the second version of the variable video; and
a publisher comprising a processor to publish the variable video as a single file for creating the first and second versions of the variable video.

A composer as defined in claim 1 , wherein the receiver is further configured to define a query to be answered by the first intended viewer of the first version of the variable video to obtain the first relevance data and to be answered by the second intended viewer of the second version of the variable video to obtain the second relevance data.
3. A composer as defined in claim 1 , wherein a first component of a scene is tagged with a first vector and a second component of the scene is tagged with a second vector.
4. A composer as defined in claim 1 , wherein the first version of the variable video lacks the second content.
5. A composer as defined in claim 1 , wherein the content includes still photography and photo stretching techniques including at least one of pan, zoom or transition.
6. A composer as defined in claim 1 , wherein the variable scene comprises third content in both the first version of the variable video and the second version of the variable video.
7. A composer as defined in claim 1 , wherein the content includes a personal uniform resource locator.
8. A composer as defined in claim 1 , wherein at least one scene includes content combined with music or voice-over.
9. A composer as defined in claim 1 , wherein the composer is to publish the variable video as a single file for creating the first and second versions of the variable video.
10. A method of authoring a variable video comprising a plurality of scenes, the method comprising:
tagging each of the plurality of scenes with at least one vector based on attributes of content of the respective scenes;
defining first relevance data to be obtained from a first intended viewer of a first version of the variable video and second relevance data to be obtained from a second intended viewer of a second version of the variable video;
charting a sequence of two or more of the plurality of scenes, at least one of the plurality of scenes being a variable scene, the variable scene comprising:
first content selected based on the at least one vector and the first relevance data to form the first version of the variable video, and
second content selected based on the at least one vector and the second relevance data to form the second version of the variable video; and
publishing the variable video for creating the first and second versions of the variable video.

A method as defined in claim 10 , further comprising defining a query to be answered by the first intended viewer of the first version of the variable video to obtain the first relevance data and to be answered by the second intended viewer of the second version of the variable video to obtain the second relevance data.
12. A method as defined in claim 10 , further comprising tagging a first component of a scene with a first vector and tagging a second component of the scene with a second vector.
13. A method as defined in claim 10 , wherein the first version of the variable video lacks the second content.
14. A method as defined in claim 10 , wherein the content includes still photography and photo stretching techniques including at least one of pan, zoom or transition.
15. A method as defined in claim 10 , wherein the variable scene comprises third content in both the first version of the variable video and the second version of the variable video.
16. A method as defined in claim 10 , wherein the content includes a personal uniform resource locator.
17. A method as defined in claim 10 , wherein at least one scene includes content combined with music or voice-over.
18. A method as defined in claim 10 , further comprising publishing the variable video as a single file for creating the first and second versions of the variable video.
19. A machine readable medium having instructions stored thereon, which when executed, cause a machine to at least:
tag each of a plurality of scenes with at least one vector based on content of the respective scenes;
define first relevance data to be obtained from a first intended viewer of a first version of the variable video and to define second relevance data to be obtained from a second intended viewer of a second version of the variable video;
chart a sequence of two or more of the plurality of scenes, at least one of the plurality of scenes being a variable scene, the variable scene comprising:
first content selected based on the at least one vector and the first relevance data to form the first version of the variable video, and
second content selected based on the at least one vector and the second relevance data to form the second version of the variable video; and
publish the variable video as a single file for creating the first and second versions of the variable video.

A medium as defined in claim 19 , further causing a machine to define a query to be answered by the first intended viewer of the first version of the variable video to obtain the first relevance data and to be answered by the second intended viewer of the second version of the variable video to obtain the second relevance data.
21. A medium as defined in claim 19 , further causing a machine to tag a first component of a scene with a first vector and tag a second component of the scene with a second vector.
22. A medium as defined in claim 19 , wherein the first version of the variable video lacks the second content.
23. A medium as defined in claim 19 , wherein the content includes still photography and photo stretching techniques including at least one of pan, zoom or transition.
24. A medium as defined in claim 19 , wherein the variable scene comprises third content in both the first version of the variable video and the second version of the variable video.
25. A medium as defined in claim 19 , wherein the content includes a personal uniform resource locator.
26. A medium as defined in claim 19 , wherein at least one scene includes content combined with music or voice-over.
27. A medium as defined in claim 19 , further causing a machine to publish the variable video as the single file for creating the first and second versions.
