Abstract

Fibrous structures that exhibit a Geometric Mean Elongation of greater than 15.8% as measured according to the Elongation Test Method are provided.

Claims (12)

1. An embossed, multi-ply fibrous structure comprising at least one throughdried fibrous structure ply that exhibits a Geometric Mean Elongation of greater than 13.9% as measured according to the Elongation Test Method and a Geometric Mean Tangent Modulus of greater than 758 g/cm at 15 g/cm to less than 1212 g/cm at 15 g/cm as measured according to the Modulus Test Method.

2. The fibrous structure according to claim 1 wherein the fibrous structure ply exhibits a Geometric Mean Elongation of greater than 14.1% as measured according to the Elongation Test Method.

3. The fibrous structure according to claim 1 wherein the fibrous structure ply exhibits a Dry Burst of from 100 g to about 1000 g as measured according to the Dry Burst Test Method.

4. The fibrous structure according to claim 1 wherein the fibrous structure ply exhibits a Dry Burst of less than 660 g as measured according to the Dry Burst Test Method.

5. The fibrous structure according to claim 1 wherein the fibrous structure ply further exhibits a Geometric Mean Tangent Modulus of greater than 800 g/cm at 15 g/cm to less than 1212 g/cm at 15 g/cm than as measured according to the Modulus Test Method.

6. The fibrous structure according to claim 5 wherein the fibrous structure ply further exhibits a Geometric Mean Tangent Modulus of greater than 900 g/cm at 15 g/cm to less than 1212 g/cm at 15 g/cm than as measured according to the Modulus Test Method.

7. The fibrous structure according to claim 1 wherein the fibrous structure ply comprises cellulosic pulp fibers.

8. The fibrous structure according to claim 1 wherein the fibrous structure ply comprises an uncreped fibrous structure ply.

9. The fibrous structure according to claim 1 wherein the fibrous structure ply comprises a wet-laid fibrous structure ply.

10. The fibrous structure according to claim 1 wherein the embossed, multi-ply fibrous structure is a sanitary tissue product.

11. The fibrous structure according to claim 10 wherein the sanitary tissue product is in roll form.

12. The fibrous structure according to claim 10 wherein the sanitary tissue product is toilet tissue.
